Well I was as nervous before that as I was before Barcelona. Obviously nowhere near the amount of weight of importance on the game but my nerves didn't know that <laugh>

Massive shout out to Adrián. We've got a number two keeper far better than a lot of first choice keepers.

Jones, what can you say - scouser scores the winner. Delighted for him. I said a little while ago that he's ready for a few bench starts and he proved it yesterday. Impressed with all the young lads, the work rate and desire was magnificent.
Something Klopp seems to has installed in the whole club. You work hard or you're out the door.

Solanke and Ibe both talented youths, but lack the work ethic.

Don't think Williams stopped all night.

Whatever Klopp's doing, it's working. It was good hearing him set the same standard for the supporters: work hard for this team, they are working hard for you.

His post match interview was great, of course he was asked many questions about Jones performance and winning goal to which he replied something along the lines of...
"yes curtis played very very well, exceptionally well, but we have to talk about these other boys too, what are we trying to say to these boys? That if you didn't score the winner you dont matter? So yes jones had a great game but so did all the boys".
What a time to be alive, honestly.

Think we need to win all our games in Jan - totally possible- so that we can start resting key players for the CL at the back end of Feb. We'll see what the draw gives us too for the FA Cup, but more of the same, in terms of team line-up. If all goes well, we should be able to give these lads full games in ones and twos from March onwards.

Some people are talking about setting records in the Prem in terms of going unbeaten, points, etc - well that may be to come in future seasons. Think the priority for now is too win the ****er and get that monkey off our back, hopefully concentrate the first team on the CL, and using these stellar kids at the back end of the season to gain experience and confidence. All that said, Jones should be on the bench for every game from now on, imo. Williams too. Think we do need another CB though this month. I still believe that not getting rb cover last season, and playing Hendo and Milner at RB, cost us points last Jan-Feb.

tbh my post was mainly a dig at the Blues <laugh>
I got it, solid <laugh>

Best manager on the planet by a country mile. We're very lucky to have him, and vice versa <ok>

I think the next 3 games could be crucial. Spurs, United and wolves. 3 tricky games.

Navigate through these, then I may start to get a little excited.
