    37?

That's as many as Nasri, van Persie, Fabregas, Wilshere and Diaby put together.

That's more than our three top scorers combined.

That's more than Walcott has scored in his career.

    Worried?

    Clearly not.

Your stats are outdated. he scored a hattrick on Saturday and has broken the 40 goal barrier! Absolutely brilliant player. There really is no stopping him. I don't envy you facing Barca but i wouldn't fancy anyone's chances against them.

    37 is that all....

    *Bendtner has more than that*.....

With one of them against the mighty Barca....

I think we should make sure we are the only ones to score.

We should make sure that every shot is deflected therefore only our players can claim to have scored the winner. Even if it is in our own net.

Bendtner would be our saving grace coming on to steal the show.

i remember mourinho doing a job on him with inter by putting a right footed defender (so say sagna) and left back.

what it did was, when messi inevitably cuts inside, the defender is able to keep up with him much more efficiently because its always easier moving off in the direction to what foot you are.

so for example, say you're left footed, and you're being asked to change direction quickly to your right (which is what always happens when a left back plays against messi), you'd find it much tougher than if you were asked to change direction quickly and run to the left. its all to do with how your most dominant leg is developed.

not saying its how to stop messi, but its one way mourinho did it.

sorry if ive confused you also

Took abit more than that to be honest lol.
<ok> Would possibly help damage limitation, but even if Sagna was against him, Messi is intelligent enough to find other spaces to exploit.
    Will take a team effort.
If you concentrate too much on Messi, the others will punish you.
