I was in a box at Newcastle I got so pissed on Eddie Stobarts free beer, that Twowrights tried to nick my camera on the way home, thieving little git
Well, through to the next round, but none of the fringe players stood out for me to make a case to be in the starting eleven in the league other than Eaves, and I was so pleased for him getting his hattrick. Taffazoli, Batty & Fleming did OK, as did Kane who does look a good player. Burke was poor, McKenzie, unfortunately, didn't take his chance, Lewis-Potter seemed to be affected by the horrendous challenge which knocked his confidence. The whole games changed on the substitutes, as Rick Skelton tweeted saying it has never witnessed in the past substitutes changing the game so dramatically. Nevertheless, 3 away wins on the trot, the win keeps the momentum going.
That’s exactly it Highpeak. It doesn’t matter who it was against or how many changes we had etc. The fact he’s scored a hat trick, will do wonders for his confidence and hopefully translate into goals in league games. Great come back, happy we got through.
Can somebody please post the highlights of the game with the goals (anything but Skye which is blocked overseas) for us poor expats for whom the game time was in the middle of the night. Many thanks.
the only ones i can find are on the bbc, which might also be blocked where you are https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/50984925
The Rotherham assistant (Richie Barker?) was an absolute disgrace. His bullying and aggressive behaviour towards the female lino should have been dealt with by the referee and sent to the stand. Talk about setting an example to youngsters wanting to take up refereeing!
For those asking about consecutive away wins, Rick posted on Twitter yesterday that the last time we did this was in 2016 Derby a Play-off first leg Exeter a League Cup Swansea a Premier League Not sure if it's better to count within the same season. Good result yesterday and good to see that we kept plugging away towards the end; nothing worse than a replay after the busy Christmas period. Hopefully we get a decent draw in the next round (Premier League or League 1/2). Provides a decent chance to progress if we draw someone like Birmingham, Millwall or QPR but hardly one to draw enthusiasm from either set of fans.
You can access BBC with Nord VPN set to England, or could the last I know, but SKY seem to pick up on it and still deny access.
for those of you who don't know 4th round draw at 7 35 on BBC 1 tmw we are number 25 Huddersfield at home postponed heres for a good draw!!!!
You should be in a box! The truth is the pissed up cheeky **** couldn't find his £200, £300, £1000 (his slurred words) camera so started to search MY jacket, he then found his camera in his own shirt pocket. To add insult a short while later he lowered the car window then raised it and puked up! Clarty bastard. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
