There speaks someone who's never been told to 'go and die of cancer' by another poster. Look, if you're a regular contributor who sticks up for your club you will inevitably piss off someone - even fellow Jacks judging by recent posts.

I respectfully suggest you ignore this type of thread if you don't like getting into arguments (which I understand) rather than insult your fellow fans. You know nothing about me or any of the other guys on here so keep your opinions to yourself.

 

Scott, by way of a suggestion... We had an issue with a few QPRsholes towards the end of last year. Rather than boot them off the forum, I just created a thread, named it W12 and any and all posts by them (and any responses) I just moved in there. That way, if any Bluebirds wanted to go at it with them, they could do it in that thread and those who didn't just stayed off the thread and/or used the ignore option. All the decent threads they tried to disrupt just carried on as intended.

JH is a tiresome bore who never contributes anything of note, i've ignored him ever since i joined this forum and have never responded to any of his inane posts. however freedom of speech is a right that needs to be protected even to the intellectually challenged such as JH, so i'd rather not support something that contradicts this. consequently i've just voted no, however i'll also be checking out that ignore button feature and i've no doubt it won't be long before i make my first entry on this function, no prizes for guessing who.

 

Good shout, to be honest , thats why I started the Cardiff/Swansea appreciation thread in the hope it would stop other threads getting derailed..... how foolish and naive I was.

 

Not in the slightest mate. That was a good idea. The irony is that's probably the one thread where abuse was at a minimum.

I am constantly aware of the effect that my feud with profit has on this Board,frankly I don't care about the Cardiff one,and just when I plan a change of strategy,some other Cardiff moron comes along,City Arse,for instance,and regurgitates the same nonsense that profit does,and I think,what the hell,I'm not letting this prat get away with it.
It's not a pride thing,I just don't like people lying and spreading malicious gossip. If that gossip was spoken in the real World,then there is redress,but here,some little bastard can simply open his/her computer, and destroy a person's reputation,just like that,and thers's no redress.
Anyway,friend,I know you are not having a go,and I respect you for your candour and the nature of your post.
Sufficient to say I am working on it,and may surprise a few.

In answer to John being banned, I have informed him that all his posts and threads have been removed from the swans forum, and any further comments and threads on here from him will also be removed.

Yes it's draconian , and the free speech people mention above is being stifled by his constant interruption of threads discussing our team or other matters, his sniping on here is the one causing problems and restricting people the right to chat on here.

The suggestion by h bomb is a good one also, and worth considering, for now though phil , Scott and I are going the moderation route, we would appreciate it if you don't respond to John should he make a comment on here, his comment will be removed from the thread as soon as it's seen.

Profit: Seem to remember you saying Vetch 'was dreaming of little African boys' and then laughably said it 'wasn't meant in a *****phile way' so you've hardly covered yourself in glory have you?

Just leave it there - things have got far too out of hand this week. If you stay away from our board this wouldn't happen. That's what I've resolved to do in Cardiff's case. Best all round I think.
