We had a horrendous run of injuries In his time with us and I don't recall any since. he left . rumours at the time indicated he ignored medical advice and selected players whist not fully recovered..
The 'fat clown' has been ( with reid ) the pick of the managers we have had at premier level given the mess he inherited from keane. Liked bsa but he was a caretaker more than a manager given the time he had.
Bruce and his famous 10th place FFS. What was it, around 8 points off relegation, lost as many games as one of the clubs who went down and a hefty minus goal difference. We'd just lost 3-0 at home to Fulham and Wolves and were looking like finishing 13/14th. 10th was a bit of a fluke and we only finished higher because bottom placed West Ham had already quit.
In this 'fantastic season' we were battered at SJP and lost in the first round of the FA Cup at home to Notts County who were in the 3rd division. It was a very poor season all round tbh.
