A bl00dy good read - https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...ndard-liege-owner-matt-southall-a9268981.html
Duchatelet was asked yesterday by Jim White whether he would buy another football club “Not a chance” he replied.
Thanks for that AHLL, good read. Funny that he has done so many bad and stupid things at any club he has managed to gain access too, but was still considered a lucid owner by some of our fans. Weird. Ah well, we can hopefully close the book on that period for good now.
The likes of Big Mak, who hadn't played for a year, Not sure where else he could have scouted him from.
Driesen isn't happy? Best news I've heard today!! I hope plenty more stuff comes out in the next few months about him and his fellow quislings. We don't have to put up with his sh*t anymore!
A thread on CL questioning whether ESI have brought the lot, doubts on whether Baton, who own The Valley, have been sold. Dushitelet may still have a financial interest in The Valley
Mundell has just raised the same question on ITTV. The Club's statement has been changed. It says ESI Owns CAFC Limited, NOT that ESI owns Baton 2010, which owns the land and CAFC Limited. "..There are three possibilities here. First, the statement on the website is wrong, at least in a formal, legal sense. A generous interpretation might be ‘clumsy’. Second, it’s correct and implies that Duchatelet still owns Baton 2010 and, hence, Charlton Athletic Holdings Limited and the land at The Valley and Sparrows Lane. Third, a corporate restructuring has taken place which, perhaps, means it makes sense for ESI to own the Football Club directly..." Duchatelet still owns the land. The whole take-over is a fake.
This has just destroyed me. If Duchatelet still owns the land, the Company and the Club is worth **** all. If Duchatelet still owns the land, Southall and ESI are liars and fraudsters - Duchatelet's puppets. There won't be any new future for CAFC as tenants of that Belgian Bastard.
Here is a screencap from the CAFC website; If I understand correectly, CAFC Limited (The Football Club, and the Valley stadium, and the buildings at Sparrows Lane) is owned by Baton 2010. The land that the Valley is built on, and the land that Sparrows Lane is built on, is also owned by Baton 2010 Here are two screencaps from the current version of Baton 2010 data, as shown on the Companies House website; Duchatelet and Murray are the only active members (directors) of Baton 2010. Unless ESI have bought Baton 2010 Or unless Baton 2010 no longer owns CAFC Limited then Roland Duchatelet still owns the land that the Valley is built on, and the land that Sparrows Lane is built on. So far there is NO EVIDENCE that Baton 2010 no longer owns the land. Just that it no longer owns the Club and the buildings (CAFC Limited). Indeed, the statement on the CAFC website (top screencap) makes no mention at all of Baton 2010. It specifically states that CAFC Limited is owned by ESI. As Mundell points out, there are only three possibilities; 1) The statement is wrong. 2) The statement is correct, and fans have not yet been told that Duchatelet still owns Baton 2010 and so still owns the land. 3) Baton 2010 has been removed somehow from the ownership chain (ceased to exist) but that this information has not yet been posted on the Companies House website, or anywhere else. If possibility 1 is correct, there is actually no cause for concern. But why would the statement on the CAFC website be so specific, but so wrong? If possibility 2 is correct, then as far as I'm concerned the take-over is a fraud, and ESI have conspired with Duchatelet to mislead Charlton supporters. And nothing ESI says from this point on is trustworthy. If possibility 3 is correct, then again there is no cause for concern. Duchatelet is 100% gone, and he has no influence or hold left over our Club. But of all the possibilities, this one seems the least likely to me. If this whole matter is just down to clumsiness and bungling by whoever typed the CAFC website statement, I will be massively relieved, if more than a bit annoyed. Again of course, I'll be mightily relieved if Baton 2010 no longer exists, and there has just been a delay updating the Companies House information. But if Roland Duchatelet still owns the land that the Valley is built on, and the land that Sparrows Lane is built on, then as far as I'm concerned he is the Club's Landlord now, and we are his tenants. That situation is totally unacceptable to me. I cannot understand how ESI would agree to shell out something like £55 million pounds, and not even end up owning the land. That will amount to deceit and treachery.
Somebody has done a lot of work Lardi ….. however, if you look at Charlton Athletic Holdings Limited on the Companies House website this also states that it is still owned by Duchatalet and Murray.... calm down and drink tea Yes, this needs clarification but it may be that Companies House have yet to update their records..... let's wait and see what Companies House says on 31/1/2020 Also, please change you Avatar back to previous until confirmation of land ownership is clarified. His face makes me feel sick!
What this ^^^^^ really amounts to is that Raging Rick and his fellow middle class busy bodies Hayes and Prague (when was the last time you saw him at a game ?) can’t bear to be out of the limelight this week. Ever Wrong and cronies WANT Matt Southall to notice them on social media, think they are important, which they are not, and invite the badly dressed gob ****e into the boardroom where he thinks he belongs. Fortunately our new CEO is active on Twitter, where a number of normal fans have warned him about Raging Rick Ever Wrong and his agenda
