Meanwhile according to SSN it's Wayne Rooney 1-0 Barnsley. Rooney did this, Rooney did that, Rooney shouted at somebody, Rooney helped with the goal, Rooney's wife looks happy in the stands, Rooney Rooney Rooney Rooney Rooney, Rooney............ Some other blokes in white shirts have supposedly been seen as well, but it's Rooney Rooney Rooney all night long. AND Endless sound bite replays of a last botty-licking interview with Roland by his glove puppet Jim White. Laugh-a-minute stuff. White has less spine than Basil Brush.
Away fans, I salute you. Keep backing the lads as you always do. We're only 1-0 down despite everything. No game is lost until that final whistle blows. UP THE ADDICKS!
BBC: “This game is still in the balance as the clock ticks down, and Charlton's fans - to their credit - are trying to lift their team for a final push. Around 500 travelling supporters are making plenty of noise. The home crowd, meantime, are getting a little tense having seen all those first-half chances go begging.”
Taylor is off in preparation for his transfer at the weekend. Last time we will see him in a Charlton shirt
A much better second half performance, with the kids making up for in 100% effort what they lacked in nous. It’s hard to exaggerate the amount of ground that Conor Gallagher covered tonight - and he is our leader aged only 19. We had about 600 there and outsung the Home fans got 90 min. The full backs in particular were not great again, and despite the endeavour is pretty to clear to everyone now that we are going back down without significant investment in January. With Taylor now out injured again, it’s a frightening thought what happens if Conor is next. PS- @Clb74 intoxicated, p1ssed off at full time....and wearing jeans, not shorts.
Why would they let him go? We won’t get anyone better in in jan, surely a slightly pissed off Taylor is better than the quality of player we can get on loan. Relegation is more expensive than whatever fee we can get for him in January.
