Very good. Just the profile of player we should be signing. But it’s very hard to see Barnsley letting him come to us.
Ryan Fraser is a similar type player and entering into the last six months of his contract … wants to play in the Championship! …. NOT Ryan … Scott Fraser..
Andre Green joins us on loan from Villa. 47 career appearances. A winger. I am underwhelmed to be honest.
please log in to view this image Andre Green has been recalled from his loan spell at Preston North End and has immediately joined Charlton Athletic on loan until the end of the season. The 21-year-old struggled for playing time at Deepdale and made only four substitute appearances in the Championship. His two starts for the club came in the Carabao Cup, where he scored once against Bradford City in Round One. Green will now join a Charlton side that made a strong start to their league campaign but have since slipped to 19th in the table amidst an injury crisis. We wish Andre all the best for his new loan spell.
What a waste! As mentioned before, ESl had the opportunity to make a big impression with the fans with their first signing, and they have failed miserably. League One is imminent.
Never heard of him; so, wait and see. I expect he'll start on Sunday. If he can help us survive this season that'll do me.
The negativity on the other forum is overwhelming. I think I will give it a swerve for a while. I have seen Andre Green play more than once and he is a decent player with pace.It makes me laugh, who do we honestly believe we can bring in when the Takeover hasn't been completed yet?
The objective is to survive in this division. Anything else is a bonus, so the time to build something more permanent is in the summer.
So much negativity everywhere. Takeover not completed, but we have a signing. No one knows if he will be anoter Conor Gallagher, or a Kayal, and we won't until he starts to integrate, but let's at least be happy we have a new face. I know it's nice to dream big, but I hugely doubt the new owners are going to be trying to break the bank in their first window at the club. People seriously need to get their expectations in check a little.
