Can we resolve to have a central midfield that you couldn't sail an oil tanker through?

    This is quite interesting......
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50822875
Particularly the two graphics on ratio of actual goals to expected goals. Over the season we have the fewest big chances against of any team. Just better than Liverpool. But we have conceded twice as many actual goals from those as Liverpool. Why are teams more likely to score against us? One clue later in the article is that Lloris is the best goalkeeper measured by stopping big chances and Gazzaniga the fourth worst.
On the other chart we are bang average on big chances created but the very best on converting them.

And moments after I posted the above, Sheffield Utd miss from two yards out against Liverpool

Danny Ings missed a sitter against 'Pool - earlier in the season- as well which would have earned S'ton a draw.

Just thought I'd note that all matches this weekend kick off a minute later than normal.
This is to highlight the Take A Minute mental health and wellbeing campaign.
Probably not a bad idea at this time of year.

The fact that Ricky Sacks was one of those behind it (along with Chris Cowlin) might have had something to do with the response...

Some quality user names there <laugh>

Galvin & Stacey was quite a name on the old 606. Wonder where he is these days.
