Good Morning. It's Monday 30th December, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road.

Leeds sign off the decade in style

We wouldn't be Leeds fans unless we enjoyed a rocky rollercoaster ride (without seatbelts). The heartfelt, emotional tear jerking thriller bought to us yesterday at St Andrews is one of those occasions when we can begin to separate the horror and torment endured over the last 15 years, and finally be able to confidently strive forward without looking behind us.

The most satisfying part is not just being top of the table, come January 1st, but Leeds have learnt how to grind out a result, and in the most difficult second tier league in the World, that will surely assist them in their quest to the Promised Land.

Untitled-10.jpg Is Alioski good enough to play at right back? Does he deserve a starting XI slot?

    What about Ayling?

Who was at fault Keeper or defence?

How do Leeds combat set pieces?

    Nketiah - In or out

    Is Dallas a midfielder?

    Does Klich need a rest?

Is Radrizzani missing a trick, by not having some kind of sponsorship deal with 'Ramipril'?

Sponsorship deal with ramipril - quality:1980_boogie_down:!!

To say that game was an emotional roller-coaster is the understatement of the decade.

Morning Ell and all by the way.

    Morning all...

I watched the goals again, Nketiah actually played a vital part in the second goal, I’d give him another chance but I’d start Bamford against WBA. With such end to end stuff I’m surprised Nketiah never used his pace more, it was working the first 20 minutes then it (game plan) seemed to go missing.

Alioski is a great player to have on the bench, he is annoying with his play acting at times, he is good getting forward but he left us exposed on the left, his defending is highly questionable but he gives it his best, Dallas LB Alioski on the bench or even in the middle until one of the walking wounded return.

Keeper at fault for at least two goals but the defence was very poor, their keeper wasn’t great either.

Easy to over analyse it all but others would laugh and question what is there to moan about when you’re sitting top of the tree.

Morning all and hope you all had a good Xmas and lets hope for a brilliant New Year and promotion. :emoticon-0148-yes:

still not got my head around yesterday but my view is that Dallas isnt Pablo and when Klich isnt on it Dallas cannot play midfield. Yes he scored 2 in 2 but how many goals have we conceded as our middle is being over run.

Phil Hay now saying we could make 3 signings
    1. If Eddie goes expect a replacement to compete with Bamford.
    2. A winger to replace Clarke but will be behind Harrison and Costa
An experienced keeper (if Kiko banned) but will be behind Meslier who will step up.

anyone else a bit peed off about young Erling Haaland? When I think we could have got him last Summer and the season before for a few mill. He even said he wanted to come.... so he ends up in Dortmund not Man Utd as expected. The deal though is dodgy and will soon hit the headlines. Firstly Man Utd made the highest offer for Haaland as there was just a £17m release clause. Man Utd were dubious about the deal because of Haalands agent who is also Paul Pogba's agent and the most dodgy greedy bent agent in world football. Haaland demanded a huge wage for young kid of £180kpwk and because he was so cheap transfer fee wise he also demanded a huge sell on fee for his father Alfie and his agent Vincent Riola. Man Utd refused and so too did 3 other worldy clubs including Juventus. Dortmund accepted and are now expected to make a killing in the Summer by selling Jaden Sancho to a top Prem club. Football is either amazing or toxic depending upon which side of the white line you sit on.

Morning all. Whatever result against wba, this team needs resting afterwards. If ever there was a time to play the u23s in a cup match it’s now, irrespective who we’re playing or where

If we’d got Haaland how long would we have held on to him before these problems, disruptions and distractions had become our own. He might have been great this season but come January it might have been a nightmare

Are you anticipating the, we need to keep winning philosophy comments?

Totally agree, we should play the U18 and move on, the U23 could help out.

Leeds must get to grips with set pieces, both when delivering, and conceding.

Opportunities are being missed as we don't have a specialist free kick taker.

We need at least one experienced with height to fend away free kicks

The opposition seem to always tower above us both when attacking and defending. I can’t actually remember either of our CBs scoring from a corner this season, I could be wrong? When we had Wood both Bartley and Pontus scored a few from corners as the opposition found it hard marking all of them.

It’s weird as before we entered the final third of the Cardiff match everyone would have laughed if we’d said we’re poor at defending set pieces.

Putting it all into perspective, all the top 6 are having a sticky patch at the moment. It’s now the time the nerves kick in, it’s when the fans get tense, it’s when players get nervous and it’s why there is always a charge from someone outside the top 6 who play with nothing to lose. You’d hope our players would cope a little better having last season’s experience under their belt

I fully expect these lads to be out on their feet after Wednesday. The next important game we then have is the wendies at home. A lot of us will be at that one and will want to see a team full of energy, tearing into Wednesday. Having said that, I expect our usual team to play Arsenal unfortunately

I would be very surprised if Bielsa did rest anyone. But he could use gotts and some more of the subs from brum game.
Bielsa comments about us being no good defending are bizarre. It's not just one game we are leaking like a sieve.

Starting to think that we need a No10 who scores goals instead of Dallas in the middle. If we cant afford one I'm sure Bogusz fits the bill but Bielsa hates dropping anyone he would put Dallas in goal next ffs

Just on a different issue .. I am looking after my 7 year old today. Is there anything better than a potato waffle, fish finger and tomato sauce sandwich?
