Aliandy @ 4/1 for the Ivy Grower at Uttoxeter (1.50) to be my final punt of the year. Came second in this race to a Venetia horse, Burrows Park, last year. BP has a gone up a stone since then and won again the other day. LTO Aliandy had to settle for the runner up spot again. The winner that day was Flinck and he went in again today off 4lb higher. Finally the owner is a sponsor of Uttoxeter racecourse and I suspect this has been a target for the horse. The only negative I can see is the going with Aliandy being by Presenting but the opening 6/1 was quickly taken up so I suspect confidence is high. Good luck and happy new year all.

Firstly, big thanks to attivo for unfaltering dedication to the daily thread throughout 2019.<applause>

Secondly, have a great nye everyone, here's to a happy, healthy and prosperous 2020 for all.<cheers>

Finally, a speculative quick fire across the card e/w double for the small Nick Littmoden stable.
Warwick 1.30 - By Rail 25/1
Lingfield 1.40 - Original Choice 12/1
I think these two have sound chances of getting in the money.

All the best.:emoticon-0148-yes:

Lingfield 2.45 Concierge

Trainer/Jockey in good form recently and this horse lurks on a dangerous handicap mark. There is a bit of money coming down. Could make a succesfull debut for his new stable.

Uttoxeter 12:15 Man Of The North

- Trainer has had 30 % of his handicap hurdlers in the money at Uttoxeter over the last 5 seasons which doesn't look bad
- Man Of The North is on his last winning mark now
- shrewed stable amongst the winners recently
- possibly needed last 2 runs after a break

Off to Warwick today to see our fella run.

Warwick 3.10pm Top Decision 9/1 each way 4 places. Appreciate price has gone now but horse is very well and we believe he has a big chance today. It's competitive but we really are excited about his chances today.

I shall probably sit out most of the other races although any tips greatly received. I do like his dream in the 2.35pm race. Thoughts on that one?

Good luck all if playing today..:emoticon-0167-beer:

Yes I think His Dream has a very good chance in this. 2 of his last 3 runs hinted some promise. He stays this trip and stable does well with his handicap hurdlers at Warwick. 2lb below his last winning mark. Enough positives to expect a bold display from him.

Thanks for the info. Have backed His Dream 17/2 each way 4 places. Johnjo has a pretty good strike rate at the course as well.. I will stick with just the 2 bets today as Cheltenham racecourse beckons tomorrow.. :emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0167-beer:

Captain CJ 9/2 - Punchestown 12.05

Horse finally running at the trip he seems to need, his best hurdle form was over just shy of 3 miles and his 3 PTP wins came over 3 miles so this step up in trip is bound to suit after being caught out by a few quicker rivals in good beginners chases here recently. This is also a decent race with some nice types but I feel he will be able to settle into a better rhythm and allowed come into the race as he wants today, should go close on current form.

Burlesque Queen 2/1 - Punchestown 2.15

In cracking form of late, the excellent Sean O'Keefe taking 5lbs off, likes right handed tracks and just 0.5 length off next time out winner Traceysenniscorthy the last time, the pair 16 clear of the 3rd that day. Should prove a very difficult horse to beat today again.

Have a good one folks <ok>

I'm sticking with Michelle Strogoff at Lingfield now. Has been running well without winning last runs and mark is down another 2lb. Nice each way chance at this price.

The 7lb claimer could make all the difference in the uttoxeter bumper for isthebaropen a bit of chump change ew , keeping me powder dry for tomorrow.
Thanks for all the info and winners this year. Have a good one. Attivo, you sir are a star.
