Hate to state the obvious, but our defending starts with our striker. Someone forgot to tell Nketia. Klich looked worn out & Dallas lost in the middle again, so we invited immense pressure. And not surprisingly, got it! In spades. Nketia got his big chance & fluffed his lines in almost every aspect. Sadly.

I still think there's a place for him, but not up front on his own. Remember how we persisted with Grot? That went well, didn't it? :)

one hell of a fight, players got kicked around a lot today, lesser teams wouldn't have wanted the fight, we did, we had so many set backs, lesser teams would have felt sorry for themselves and gave up, we didn't, lots of problems and hard fighting but we wanted it so much we stole it at the death, out on their feet but somehow managed to dig it out, no moaning from me, proud as fook with them. <applause>:emoticon-0165-muscl

Just had a look back at this stage last year. Same points, same goals for, 4 goals less conceded. :D

They dug out a result. We need a large glass of realism. These players are over clocked and working their butts off for us. They do and will continue to make mistakes. I bet no Premiership teams will come in for any of them in January because they're average but we're top!

    We're top

    We're top

I am speechless!!! No Bamford, Eddie didn't score, best defence in the league leaking like a sieve, drawing at 91 mins and yet we win and are top of the League!!!!

    WTF is going on??????????????

If you didn’t know the result and someone had said to you Eddy will start and 9 goals will be scored, no sending offs, how many would you have thought Eddy would score, quite remarkable all round

Bielsa says it was like #lufc in reverse. Putting their chances away but not controlling the match defensively.

<applause> well said Chesh. Sometimes the over analysing of matches winds me up. We all could see the **** ups today, but I'm just happy with the result. <ok>

Just watched the HIGHLIGHTS posted and I still think the balls in were real quality. If anything the defence should be stopping them. They were fired in at pace and on a penny, very tough for the keeper

Well that was some game to win at the death. I think we have used all our get out of Jail cards up in that game alone.

I said earlier that Ayling is a liability!! he is Leeds threw and threw but does not cut it for me.
Nketiah had a nightmare, he did chase down the first half and he used up all his energy IMO and he was fading fast, hence subbed.
Alioski, well i think it must be the time of month for him, he bitches and moans for 90 mins, his heart is in the right place, but again he does not cut it for me.
Klich, i just dont get it with this player, he just goes missing and i think he is almost burnt out.
The one player i am really concerned about is young Ben White, he looks drained, maybe lost a yard of pace through fatigue, alarm bells must/should be ringing if he gets injured.
Casilla, best till last, he is guilty of race abuse, so lets get him banned for 6 games from midnight 31st December, French lad comes in, plays well, clean sheets, Casilla bench warming for rest of season.

One question i would like to ask, and that is where the fck was Cooper in all this, he should stand out, encourage and pull players through sticky periods of a match being the captain, bottom line he is not a captain, definitely not a leader.

Think the difference this season could be a lot of teams around the same standard, from third to 13th, they will take points off each other and I don't see a mega money team buying a shot like Villa did in Jan last season, keep white and Eddie and I think this will be the season.

There's little point in trying to analyse a game like that.

We were shocking and at times brilliant...unfortunately not in equal measures as the mistakes, the howlers, the downright stupidity and lack of game management were so abundently clear and of such a magnitude, that anyone, or anything, in our household was extremely fortunate to survive the ordeal. Can honestly say I don't think I've ever shouted so loudly at a television in my life before today.

Her who must be obeyed came charging downstairs to see what was causing this cacophony and my son implored me to shut up and stop screaming like a crazy madman...a few minutes later as Alioski, once again, f***ed it up and we concede a 4th I can hear him quietly blubbering on the sofa.

And then finally the sheer bliss of the win...agony and despair turned to euphoric exctasy in seconds.

Is that the Ayling who set one up and scored a world? And the Alioski who made two?
Klich was everywhere, he's always available to receive a pass and works his nuts off.
Watch the WBA keeper flap at a corner then get lobbed from 50 yards and you might be more forgiving of Casilla

I'm going to sod off now before someone gets upset but let's get some perspective on this.
    We won
    We're top
    WBA lost at home
We are well clear of third

Give the players a fkn break ffs!

Cooper does a good job of making himself invisible.

Must of watched a different game, Eddie had a Nightmare ? Birmingham were scared stiff of him IMO and stuck to him like glue, he wasn't match fit, it takes games for that, but IMO the attention Eddie got opened up most of the space that the other lads got, but maybe it was just a fluke that we scored 5 from 6 shots the best goals to shots for over 2 years, believe that if you want, but I don't.

Sorry blono... he has to do better for the second, you can’t come rushing out like he did for the third. His positioning wasn’t great for the fourth.

not sure if you were around on here when BPF was analysed to death over every goal.. mr Madrid came in and got a free pass for ages... before it became obvious to everyone he was a liability.

Casilla has done well this year generally and I defended him on here last week. But at least 2 of the goals today (2nd and 3rd) were rank bad goalkeeping at ANY standard.

All keepers make howlers, I’m not saying we should sack him... just pointing out a bad performance.
