Andy Carroll was great today, put himself about and left an Everton player in a heap many a time. Not the best player in our team, but I wish the rest had his passion.

 

I agree he did well and sadly other than poir decisions cost us the game in the end... i think him and joelinton played well today tbh. One of them days nothing seemed to go for us... we went hoofball last 20 i dont like to see that was my point... need to mix it up to make it more effective when we do.

 

He's been a really good signing I think. Really bought something back to the squad. TBF though I think it's a little harsh to say the rest don't have the passion. I think this team all play for eachother and put a good shift in typically.

 

If it was anyone but him that cost us the 2nd goal they would say he had a **** game... he did a good job doing all he can do, but thats easy for him when all we do is go long and not so good for players with other attributes they cannot show.

 

Does anyone know if Joelinton move to the right was an instruction? Didn't look like it. Either way it did work for the team, he's like a better Atsu from the wing.

 

Rafa was crap, as he has been for some time. Bruce will continue to outperform him in all of the metrics.
