Naturally. Can't beat good fresh veg, you wouldn't know the stuff mate, it's not out of a tin or frozen.

You cannot be immune to critique. It’s an aunt Bessie yorkie. The gravy looks too thin and the roast potatoes still have the skin on. Whilst I’d eat it and probably enjoy it there are some serious minus points here.

It’s a fail from me. No seasoning and who eats anything but roast parsnips?? Unless there is a photo it’s as real as a ginge Michelin dinner.

All true mate. I never touch any tinned veg. Everything I mentioned tonight was fresh veg. Not even peeled, accept for chopping out any skank bits, because it takes away the goodness and taste.

Most fresh veg this time of year costs next to nothing. Especially after Christmas, because the supermarkets can't get rid of it quick enough.

To be fair, freezing vegetables can be a really good way to preserve their nutrients if they aren't going to be used quickly. A lot of it is flash frozen right after it's been harvested.

Some of the fresh produce that is sold as fresh in supermarkets has already spent days on the road and in storage. Don't even mention fish, the 'fresh fish' counter sells some fish that's been in deep freeze for months.
