No mate, had the family staying. Gave my tickets to one of my cousins and his lads. We played alright tbf, deserved the 3 points.
Players surround the linesman because of a decision finally given against them, no yellow from Atkinson
You did, in fairness. Not a good game. Burnley are hard ****ing work. See their fans sang 'In Your Liverpool Slums' again. Anyone had the joy of going to Burnley?
They didn’t even take the full allocation, left the upper bullens section with us. Yes I have been, and yes it’s a rancid ****pit. They defended really well in fairness, absolute yard dog side, but they do it well like.
Problem for Atkinson is he can't ref us or City every week so hasn't got enough chances to make his bias count in the title race Would love to hear him explain why it wasn't a foul on Origi for the Man Utd goal but was a foul on Mahrez for the penalty
The problem you’ve got, is that Atkinson didn’t award the penalty, he waved it away. But bias though.........
The very definition of an alehouse team. Btw, Martinez, your best manager this decade, agrees with me. You need big evidence to overturn a subjective decision. As far as I'm aware, Atkinson saw the contact or he would have booked Mahrez. To then have someone three hundred miles away tell you that they saw it too and they think you're wrong, then you change your mind though the final decision is yours is NOT a clear and obvious error. Feeble by Atkinson, or presumptuous by VAR.
I never said it was a definite penalty though, I said it was soft. The way Riley has told them to use VAR is that the on field ref trusts the VAR official as opposed to viewing the pitch side screen himself (they are there btw) Martinez was right about that. The final decision should rest with the on field ref, and he should view the monitor if advised his decision might have been wrong.
