So that’s the hard run of fixtures over with and despite the win against Leeds it was less points than I was hoping for. Having said that we are still fourth and our next 11 games the highest positioned team is 10th in the table so if we still having any hope of automatic promotion a good run has to start right now.

Luton away would be a massive away 3 points as we then go into two very winnable home games... three home games if you count the fa cup. Our next four games are two at home and two away games against teams in the bottom 7 both of whom are even lower in the form table.

Luton have no obvious suspensions or injuries and they pick up most of their few points at home so this we not be easy and we have to be up for it... forgetting their 7-0 nightmare against Brentford no team has walked over them and they are always competitive.

Izzy Brown the young Chelsea midfielder is for me their star player he has had a few successful loan spells in the championship now and would be an asset for most teams.

I can see the same starting line up as the Leeds game though Stef Jo could come in for Onamah... having said that despite a very poor start Onamah has a few good performances in his last few games.

I agree there Cookie. I thought we may have looked to change shape to counter Leeds but it comes to light analysis was done and Leeds tactics were countered but kept us with a dangerous edge to our game. Fair play to Scotty and our backroom boys for that.
A good win on Boxing Day would be brilliant, my only concern being that this day brings some unexpected results. So no Christmas Pud for the lads!

Merry Christmas to you to White Stripes.... when Fulham lose and I get to down it’s always looking at and playing with my 3 and 5 year old that makes me realise it’s not the end of the world.

I have won the battle with my wife as she thought my 5 year old was to young but now almost 6 she will open from Santa a ticket to her first ever Fulham game... home to Stoke on the 29th

Brilliant, I hope your youngster brings us luck, if they do we might look at having a whip round on the board for a half season ticket. I hope you both enjoy the game.

First of all a very Merry Christmas to everyone. Thanks for keeping for forum alive. I do enjoy it and miss Cottager58 still.

I going to Luton so will report back. We need to follow up that Leeds result with a win and see no reason why we can't do that. Confidence will be high and these Christmas games is where are squad comes in to play. No complacency, we need the 3 points here. Parker is still learning but good he made tactical changes on Saturday.

    Have a good one everyone.

Well that was a disappointing trip. We gifted them two goals - first one was one that we have all been waiting for - the passing out from the back. We were lucky just two minutes before that first goal as Luton strikers quickly closed down Rodak when passing it just outside the box to Mawson and somehow we managed to get away with it - to do it again two minutes later - well you can image the reaction.

Luton played well, closed us down quickly so we could not play our normal game. Good banter with their fans. It was a frustrating game but at least we did not give up. Bobby Decordova Reid was my MOM - a player who today took on the Luton defence and skillfully went through and came close a number of times. At least we did not give up - it was a Christmas giveaway and it was again our defence that let us down.

Great old fashioned ground - first time I've been there.

Dozy Defending cost us again. I wonder if anyone has done a video compilation of the amount of times piddling around at the back has cost us points, we'd probably be competing with Leeds and WBA. Surely Scott Parker can see what we see. It's Russian Roulette, Frustrating.
