Already put his foot in it I see. Shutting down a discussion on racism initiated by gary Neville. Everyman and his dog agrees what Neville had to say was spot on, there is no place for racism in football in any way shape or form He's attempted to wheedle his way out of it but in all fairness has made an utter dog's breakfast of it. Doesnt bode well does it?
Congratulations, you've somehow managed to be wrong in almost every aspect of your post. Jones didnt shut down the discussion, he simply pointed out that Neville was putting forward his personal views. It wasn't Neville who initiated the discussion, it was Jones. Jones was instructed in what to say, he had no choice. He wasn't disagreeing with Neville but he's not there to give his own views on these subjects ... ... Naga Munchetty was recently reprimanded for expressing personal views which were ruled to be inappropriate. What Neville was railing against was alleged unproven racism which may not have actually happened, hardly worth making it the main focus of the match. No doubt you'll attempt to wheedle your way out of it but in all fairness you've made an utter dog's breakfast of this thread.
Unbelievable Jeff I've never heard so much negative drivel but you've managed to shift the playing field again, a new all time low. What do you get from all this insanity?
I'm 100% behind Neville in his views. However, I don't think we should be going overboard with anything 'alleged' whether racist or otherwise. I'm sure Rudiger is convinced about what he heard, but it's remarkable that he could clearly identify monkey noises in a crowd of 60,000 people. Spurs have gone over hours of cctv/film footage, with lip readers, and can't find anything. I'm sure, as they have many foreign players and supporters, that they'll be doing everything possible to find anyone committing racist offences. My point is that it's perhaps better for Neville to comment on things that have definitely happened rather than something simply alleged. Every decent person would agree with Neville, that there's no place for racism in football ... ... but I did get a slightly uneasy feeling that he was trying to make it look like he was saying something that hasn't been said before. This isn't 'his' debate, it's a debate for everyone, and he was saying nothing brave or ground breaking. It's a classic case of stating the obvious.
Let's all just take a moment to reflect on how tragic a life Bri must lead. Yes we know that he is a coward. Clearly very very lonely, but imagine his pain and anger when HE reflects on this.
My thoughts exactly mate, some people are desperately searching for things to whinge about and use it against the club. We are going through desperate times but I am sick to the back teeth of all of the negativity, lies and conjecture the prophets of doom are creaming themselves over. Go to the game and get behind the team it really is that simple.
I’ve read numerous threads by fulwell bri and as nigh on all are slagging safc off everytime, I have no idea of why he supports safc. he has the amazing ability of being wrong everytime happy Christmas bri at least you spelt fulwell right
We have more than one for a start. Tommy Sloane was a strong, hard but fair player. That'll do for me.
spurs will get find 50p. if it was us the whole world would be against us, heard nowt more about the Liverpool 'banner' and so on.
imagine this: “Billionaire buys SAFC, writes off debt, ploughs money into playing, management and coaching, gets club promoted to premier league and into Champions league” Fulwellbri posts “this new owner is a twat, I have no grounds fir my argument but it’s a gut feeling” ****ing imbecile!!
