Ghilas: Impressed fairly when he played. Never really got the chance.

Belaid: Played 8 games according to Wikipedia, doubt that number. Seemed to have "something about him" and was certainly not the worst option.

Pusic: Hasn't played at all after pre-season? Not even been on the bench?

Similar signings all gone to waste?

None. Just wanted to share my pretty damn awesome discovery. Was going to make a thread about Pusic but forgot about it. Has he played one single game/been on the bench since the season started?

See, I'm not sure why he doesn't get a game. We were told he was injured, yet in the training photos today, he was there running around. He looked good in the two games he played (albeit against two low league sides). I would have him on the bench ahead of Barmby, but of course in Pearson's eyes, if Barmby wasn't brought on, bad, bad things would happen, such as his dog catching fire or waking up in his bed next to a severed horse head.

I thought Belaid was good, he was ahead of Harper and looked like he was up for it. I'd give Pusic a run out against Donny, but if we play an unchanged side and win against Bristol, he probably won't get in for a while, until we get an injury (touch wood).

    Done. <ok>

Pusic was inured, he's back now, but will find it hard to break into a winning team.

I don't think anyone is suggesting he should start, but it shouldn't be hard to break into a bench that barely gets used.

Putting Barmby, Fryatt and Adebola all on the same bench is a bit pointless in my opinion.

A bench of Gulacsi, Macca, Evans, Pusic, Fryatt would make more sense to me as it gives us more options. (obviously when Macca gets back, Bradley in the meantime)

I think he's only just back from injury, so maybe he'll make the bench on Saturday(I think he'd have played in the Scunny reserve game a week ago if he'd been fit).

Barmby, Adebola and Fryatt all add something different.

Barmby can be used as mid or forward.

    Fryatt's a goal poacher

    Adebola is a battering ram.

I like the way we have three attack minded players on the bench.

:smiley-finger007: The clean sheets are on a run, the number of opportunities have increased, so we must now increase the number of conversions to goals - no need to tinker; let the pudding prove itself!

The most significant difference between Ghilas and Pusic is probably about £20,000 a week.

They're three games into their season and I don't think he's appeared at all for them yet.

I haven't seen Pusic but i never rated Belaid, Ghilas, or for that matter David Amoo, to add another name to the list.
