Your wish, our command JEX! Brill game, doesn’t get better than this, we won, 3 points, 3 goals, clean sheet. And, Eaves scores. Could ‘av, should ‘av scored a couple more in first half, until scoring we were battering them nil, nil!

Thought Da Silva had another great game, yes he made a few mistakes, but easy to forget he’s still only young and developing. Has a great leap on him for a shorty, just sometimes his timing isn’t right! So pleased for KLP, one of our own, seems so humble, not yet nailed his goal celebrations! Nice to see Bowen’s influence on him. He may be small, but seems to have a natural instinct, knows where the net is, long may he continue.

Overall, no-one had a bad game, defence in particular determined to have the clean sheet.

Looked at a different level to Birmingham today, especially after we scored just before half time. It seemed to lull just before half time so the timing of the first goal was crucial. We seemed to control the game well and I don't think Long had a testing save to make. Plenty to be pleased with from the performance today, it's just about keeping that consistency if we are to seriously challenge for the top 6. Keeping the squad together in January is vital but also avoiding the poor performances like at Barnsley and Huddersfield. Good finish by KLP as well; he seemed remarkably confident for someone so young and it was a decent finish. The perfect start to the Christmas fixtures. Best wishes to everyone for a Happy Christmas!

I thought the first half was quite even , great goal by Eaves just before the break . Second half we bossed it really .

Martin Peters was only a year older than Da Silva when he won the World Cup, Alan Ball was slightly younger. Just saying.

Humberside Police had just discovered some people calling themselves Zulu Warriors had caused mayhem 30 something years ago. Can’t be too careful...

Got to say brum are one of the poorest teams going forwards I've seen this year, final ball appalling, worse set plays than us, never really felt under threat at all

Good to see so much more going on around the match too with the band playing live music, all the stuff for the kids near the West Stand and the half-time entertainment having a load of kids involved rather than some crappy Do A Deano! Good step forward that!

Other than a free header they should have scored, I thought they offered very little else. Really poor.

Indeed, and even that chance came from one of the worst crosses of the day which bobbled out kindly to their left winger to put back in as it missed the original target by half the width of the 18 yard box

Their local rag did as much research as their manager, fancy letting us score from a near post header?
