    Southampton did a "Burnley" today and played to their strengths. It wasn't always pretty but it sure was effective. Great to see lots of communication between the players today and also encouraging one another.

    That is five out of our last six games that we have played well apart from the aberration last weekend.

    Ings aside, Armstrong, Longy and Stephens all played very well today.

    Gotta keep Armstrong in the team. Boufal and Djenepo are impact players. Lets use them like that for now.

    Virtually half way through the season and 18 pts, not too shabby and we know we can play better.

    An addition or 2 to strengthen next month must still be on.


    Just a nod to Sheffield United on 28 points, what a solid first half of season they have had.

    That Gilbert made Ryan look superb. Some really good work to get into positions to cross the ball. And then quality crossing. Must be like Christmas or something!
