Thanks for that..........I am looking at the other side of the coin............He is giving the power to over rule The Eu's courts..........and Im guessing that means he could in theory go to the courts to over come workers rights. Would he really be that stupid?? The word reneged by the way means it has happened what Im actually seeing is it could possibly happen.......am I right?

Boris Johnson is a notoriously slippery bugger and you have to look at whatever he is saying a bit differently. Like, don't believe it until you know it's nailed on to be a fact. Good luck finding any honestly, or trying to make much sense out of any of it.

Would he be that stupid? He won't think he is being stupid., but in answer to your question, yes he would be that stupid. He will also dress it up as something different to what it actually is and some people will believe that it isn't what it is....and that is one of the reasons why we are all in deep ****.

    Confused? Join the club.

Before the election he said the protections would definitely be in the draft.

Now he's saying he's said they might not be, which is reneging on that assurance even if he decides to put them in later.

Think of it like if you were promised a parcel to arrive on a specific day, then after you pay and its sent they say actually it could arrive on a number of days. Youd still feel theyve broken their agreement even if it arrives on the correct day. Its dishonest.

Yep, slippery and duplicitous. Just hope there is a social liberal in there amongst his many faces!

Some of the old one-nation Tories would have called him out but he expelled all of them before the election was called. Every single one of the Tory benches now has bought the whole Boris package.

Boris Johnson is actually suffering from a very painful medical condition that has been covered up by the arch weasel Dominic Cummings.

The truth of it is that poor old Boris has been suffering from chronic constipation, so there is actually more crap coming out of his mouth than out of his arse.

Not any more, they have all been got rid of. The only possible rebellion would be if his stance on say, a customs union, were to soften, the ERG would be on his back.

I don’t think they are dropped......... Just that the court could take them out. Isn’t that where we are?

I don’t know where you got that from, it’s not what is said in any of the links we have posted. In October he pledged that existing workers rights and environmental protections under EU law would continue after we leave. Now he’s saying they might be weakened. That’s reneging in anyone’s book.

sorry I hadn’t seen that........Have I got this wrong then it was my understanding that this country was leading even the EU in tackling the environment problems. I can’t remember the exact dates but I thought we were trying to get pollution down to almost zero before the rest of the EU. Is that not so?

Now they are intending to make it not an offence to not buy a TV licence. The end of the BBC?

Did you look at the link?
He is refusing to confirm that he will adhere to promises to protect workers rights, which normally translates into him reneging on a promise.

Who would have predicted all of this, it's almost like Johnson had a track record of being dishonest...

Goodbye BBC, NHS and environmental and human rights. Hello US low standards and Trump.
