I've never understood this thing for college games by tv. They are amateurs (I think!), not professionals in the USA. But then I don't like basketball or gridiron.

 

Ignoring the fact that the decade doesn't end until the end of next year, I'm surprised Utd are 2nd given the abysmal showing since SAF left in May 2013.
City aside, the other top six sides had good and bad spells resulting in all of them having similar records.
If only all those billions hadn't been thrown at City.....

The usual suspects who won the PL this decade averaged only 3-10 pts
per season more. The pattern for GD suggests the Poool should have
at least one PL title (shame ) .

 

Great story...apart from the fact we were not 3 nil up...we were 3-1 up...to a team who were light years ahead of us player wise.

 

If you take the 10 completed seasons 2009-2010 - 2018-2019 and work out the average league position for these 6 teams City average highest at 2.3, Utd and Chelsea joint 2nd at 3.5, then us and Goons average 4 and LIverpool last of the 6 on the 10 year ave at 5.4.

 

Tbf to him, he couldn't remember the exact score that we were ahead by, when he came on. He was close.

Pool getting a signing done already, have to praise how they've been doing business these past 18-24 months, they've not been messing about and just got straight to business. Done similar with van Dijk, signed him in December so that he could be registered on Jan 1st and ready to go.

So who's hoping for Gio to be made permanent, along with Koulibaly, Aarons and Soumare all done by Jan 1st then?

 

It’ll be interesting to see if the presence of Mourhino has an effect on dealings.

I would be surprised if Mourhino didn’t discuss potential signings with Levy, before taking on the job.
