Good to see the jockey bans from Sandown overturned. My solution to stop races effectively in future? Big red stop lights in the wings of the fences and just switch them on to stop the race.

Make sure you get them from a reputable store and not China on e-Bay or they’ll fuse and burn down the fences.

Surely only 1 highlight in today’s NH offering. That being the potential for the lovely Carol Vauders visiting Shropshire to see her horse trained by the Ivy Grower go over hurdles for the 2nd time. The people of Ludlow must be beside themselves with excitement. I almost bunked off work.

I think we need to sound the festival horse running siren. In the 2:25 we have The Big Breakaway who was so impressive on debut, and if he takes this today in the same manner, I think we will see him in graded races next time out.

I also like Garry Clermont in the opener at Ludlow, who I think will continue his upwards curve.

The reason they had a yellow flag in the first place was because 1 in 12 people are colour blind so a having a separate red flag wouldn't help jockeys who are colour blind.

I'm saying get rid of the flags completely and have great big fecking flashing lights that leave absolutely no doubt that the race is to be stopped immediately <ok>

(Not sure whether these might spook the horses though - but any more than a bloke waving a flag?)

That Ludlow race was very interesting. Garry Clermont must have some kind of breathing issue given how well he travelled.

    hi fellas! hope,youre well.

    my first for today

    newbury,12 50:

shishkin and enemy coast ahead are very much respected here, given their powerful yards, but ive the feel, that GARBANZO might trump them both today.was bordering on useful on the level, and might have a fitness edge for that.from a shrewd yard,so definite chance.

none of these can be ruled out with confidence, but the debut second of GARRETSTOWN,where he was only half a length behind stoney mountain,is just about the best form, considering, the improvement of that horse afterwards.GARRETSTOWN wasnt as good on his next start, but that first form is just about the best here,in my view.big shout

hatcher beat master work by 9 lengths here a few weeks ago,and should confirm the form with that rival, but the interesting one for me is BABY KING.he made a satisfactory seasonal debut at aintree recently, being second to a progressive rival, and can run off the same mark today.so,if building on that initial good effort, wont be too far away..

Limited Exhibition who landed Paul Nolan a grade one on Sunday beating Andy Dufrense is being moved to Willie Mullins barn. How can small trainers move up the ladder when this regularly happens on both sides of the water:(
