31 points from 22 games, just above what we need for a 60 point total which is a real improvement on recent seasons. Plus I understand that, although we let a lot of goals in, we play some decent football too. This is genuine progress.

    You lot are being unfair.
Manning has been playing all seasion as a left back/wing back...and all of a sudden he was moved out to midfield and Wallace was the left back, and he was shiiite. Manning probably was constantly in two minds about what to do, it takes more than a few minutes to change from a role you have played for 20 matches

I believe Warburton tried to shoe-horn Wallace into the team in his favoured left back position...this had a domino effect that threw the whole team out of kilter. Manning into a diamond midfield and to make way for Wallace. Then we had to drop Pugh or BOS (obviously not BOS after Wednesday) so Pugh was dropped so BOS had to play as the no 10 behind Hugill, that Pugh played so brilliantly against Derby. BOS (and Manning) were off the wing and we became narrow and ineffectual. This one was down to Warburton messing the team around I am afraid.

Lets see against Charlton if he makes up for his mistake

Agree 100% that Warburton was to blame for changing formation and putting players in the wrong positions.
I stand by my opinion that Manning is a tad over rated on here. I like him, but his positioning wherever he plays is often woeful.
We are doing well this season and I like Warburton. I just wish he'd stop tinkering.

He actually put the players in the right positions col. They were just the wrong players!
Warbs is so pro Wallace it is unhealthy. He was beyond awful yesterday. He should not have tinkered and he really needs to admit that Wallace is no longer the player he was. Leave Manning at makeshift left back where he has been a revelation.

That's kind of what I meant.
I didn't see the game, but playing Wallace and then putting Manning and BOS, who I understand was at the tip of a diamond, out of position was a mistake. Warbs must stop tinkering.

Hopefully MW felt it was a trial formation and he has now found out it was a mess.
Keep with success MW and let it develop and learn how to win (and how to learn from their mistakes).

Yep. It’s a remarkably simple game really. Play your best players in their best positions and hope the rest of them don’t make complete ****s of themselves. There’s really very little between any of the teams in this league.

Versus Charlton, surely Wallace will not start and it'll be the Birmingham/PNE starting 11?
We need legs in midfield to take Pratley out of the game as one thing he is not, is quick.
Watching them v Hull, Pratley bossed the midfield. They are very similar to us and look like conceding on a regular basis.
    3-2 Saturday

Bad day at the office HOWEVER a positive…..we scored 3 away from home.
We are QPR...we don't do thinks easy and straight forward. Two clean sheets was good.....confidence was soaring....we got punished.
Hopefully they can use this a s motivation for the next game.
And they win as a team......and lose as a team
