Nass 12.50 - Walk Me Home 10/1. Wonderfully bred filly by Galileo out of Sway, this Gavin Cromwell trained JP McManus owned animal won't have to be a world beater to win a very weak looking maiden hurdle. I'll be surprised if there is no money around for her before the off and I am hoping she runs a big race on rules debut. Nass 2.25 - School Boy Hours 11/4. Ran 3rd in what should prove to be one of the best beginners chases this side of the pond on chase debut (behind Laurina and Minella Indo), given a tender enough spin owing to the heavy conditions and acknowledging the opposition that day. This race has nothing of the sort that ran that day and I feel he offers a bit of value against the Mullins favourite here with the ground not as testing also. Fingers crossed for a good day for JP... we know he could do with the prize money anyway Happy Monday or should that be Monday's!
Ffos Las 1.30 Some Can Dance 13/8 win . A rare foray in to mid week betting for me but I know trainer believes he has a serious chance today..will love the ground and goes well around track and apparently is working very well at the yard.
2.35 Ffos Llas - The GIPPER- 5/1 Won this race last year off 118 with Adam Wedge on board , today he races off 112 with Isobel Williams taking off 7 so effectively he runs a stone lighter than last year. Ran a decent third last time after a wind op, so am hoping the second run after an op will bring improvement. Won’t mind the ground at all and all points to big run today with I’m sure some Xmas gambles being landed this week
Backed this one on his last 2 runs and mentioned it here so I really expect him to get his head in front today.
Ffos Las 12:30 Vif Argent Down to such a low mark and todays testing conditions should bring out an improved performance at a nice each way price.
hi all! naas,12 50: a big field, but presumably plenty of dead wood. the mullins hot-pot is very much respected, but ive the feel, that the value lies with RHYTHM DIVINE here.she made a good start to the season in may, being second to another very useful mullins horse, and although only 6th next time out,she was just a place behind alfa mix then, and this one scored just yesterday in a hot handicap.so,all in all,the form looks solid enough to me.
and just a quick look to ffos las 1 00: chez castel mail is probably the slightly better horse, but this absence is rather off-putting,so JAC BROWN gets the nod.won well here in the summer, albeit on good ground, and was possibly a bit outclassed next time out.makes his hurdling debut in a very winnable race,so definite shout.
ffos las,1 30: SOME CAN DANCE probably bumped into a useful rival last time out,and he is able to compete off the same mark today.so,with a jolt of progress, will be thereabouts..
Wolverhampton 4.10 Sir Hamilton Was much better than todays rivals in 2018 and shrewed new stable could exploit low mark now. Trainer does well in these kind of races especially at Wolverhampton and good amateur booked (takes off valuable 5 pounds). Didn't ran bad before flopping at Kempton when hanging left handed. Worth an each way bet today.
plumpton,1 45: the safest option may well be HARD TO FORGET.he absolutely bolted up at hereford recently, and a 9 lbr rise might not be enough to stop him today.the second horse won again yesterday,so that gives the form a solid enough look..
naas,2 25: well,if bapaume can rectify his bad run from last time out,he ll be tough to beat, but thats a big "if",so i d rather back one e w here, and its SPYGLASS HILL,that interests me.his handicap hurdle form is solid, but nothing special, but he could easily make a much better chaser, and if rachael blackmore riding him for the first time this season is anything to go by with, that might mean business for connections today.so,if his jumping is up to scratch here, can go well..
ffos las,3 10: the one, that looks very dangerous here is TUDORS TREASURE.he lacks a recent run,but was in grand form when last seen in the spring, and isnt yet fully exposed over staying trips.so,if hes ready to go today, and if he goes on that ground, should go very well.tom o brien also 3-3 on him.
In the 6:10 tonight at Wolverhampton trainer Marco Botti has two runners at very big prices both having only their second run out. Out of the two Vertice looks the one i'd be expecting the most improvement from although improvement from both wouldn't be the biggest shock. It looks a piss poor race on paper and the favourite is ridiculously short and well worth taking on. I'm going to cover both. Little rev fc for good measure. Zero Limits 50/1 ew (3 places) Vertice 45/1 ew (4 places)
Wouldn't be surprised if Hic Bibi runs well in the 5.15. Well drawn in stall 1 for one who likes to make all. Could be a double for in form Ben Curtis.
Went off at 12/1 and 28/1 and came last and 2nd to last. Didn't see much I morovement in either and Zero Limits never even got going. Very disappointing
