Until we improve the side it doesnt matter who the manager is. We into about the 5th window running needing a decent centre half; its ridiculous
We have some dangerous and/or quick players on the last third. We need to concentrate on nothing but defending everyday. Get the ball and get it on the channels, where hopefully one of the front players will get on it or apply pressure to defenders. I hate playing that way, but we try to pass forward and we just can’t. Get things tight and see what happens from there.
I agree with you though, the only way to get this lot winning is to play ugly long ball to our pacy front men. Ralph doesn’t want to do that so, as much as he might be a good manager, we will probably go down under him. Allardyce would keep us up, of that I’m very certain, it just doesn’t feel like a long term answer (which Ralph potentially could be if he is backed financially and we stay up) I’ve said it before I think we need a complete rebuild personnel wise, so if I were the owner and it’s my money at risk I would get Allardyce for a couple of years, survive, still get PL money and let a lot of the players we haves contracts run down. Then have a re-think
