Have to agree - Pentland Hills jumped superbly but emptied very quickly. Possibly too keen on debut but still disappointing. The big 2 miler at Leopardstown will be the next clue - hopefully Coeur Sublime can take that
Cant see Coeur Sublime troubling the judge at Leopardstown, backed him antepost for Triumph last year but hes just not a G1 horse. We see these early season wide margin egg and spoon winners every year, the races at Christmas are a bit harder then the festivals are a notch up again.
Disappointing from Elixr de nutz. Backed Clondaw Castle but so nearly backed Warthog but decided against it. Poor today.
We'll see - I though he looked a proper horse at Down Royal but as you say he didn't beat overly much. It does look a very open champion hurdle this year though - might not need to be a Hurricane Fly to win it, maybe a Katchit or Punjabi year
cheltenham,3 40: this looks wide-open,but a narrow vote goes to INDEFATIGABLE e w.a tough mare, and especially her last effort was very encouraging, when second to high-class mare lady buttons, even if a little bit flattered maybe.should go well again today.
As mentioned earlier, I like Shambra in this. Only 20's at the moment - hoping for a drift Aftertime verdict: ridden by a tourist
wolves,4 50: i am a firm believer in experience in maiden races, and thats why im going with ROCKING REG here.his last run, when second here, is working out really well, with the winner running well again in a better race next time out,and the third winning again since.that looks solid enough to me.
