Of course not, I'm not suggesting he's being disingenuous, it is a nice touch. We've been here before though, players get hurt, come back too soon, get injured again, and so on. I'm just preparing myself for something similar.
Kevin Stewart will miss Hull City’s Yorkshire derby against Barnsley tomorrow with a foot injury. Norbert Balogh is expected to return to training next week.
Kevin Stewart out until February with a hairline fracture of his metatarsal. Josh Magennis - Hamstring injury, will be out until mid to late January.
Those 2 out is a real blow, and it is going to show our relatively thin squad for what it is. This I feel will be the difference between us getting into the top 6 or not.
Ha ha, are you Mr Hatam in disguise? I wasn't sure whether you were referring to the back heel, or smoking the ham-string?
Better news on Josh Magennis’ injury. Looking more like a four-week absence. Potentially back for the Christmas games. Less positive for Norbert Balogh. He’s had a setback. Unlikely to feature in the busy week coming up. Courtesy of Phil Buckingham.
Tbf in his one and only appearance I very much doubt he will be missed .. turning circle of the QE2 and 5 yards off the pace of the game
"Two weeks away" We've heard that before... We need to stop targeting players that are cheap because of injury problems, it just isn't practical.
