The Bay Horse was the first pub (in England) I got served in. Twagged PE in the afternoon, quick change of clothes and got fairly lairy on 3 pints.

Annual tradition of being down for the Christmas lights in Kew Gardens this weekend.
Daughter, her husband and Granddaughter live close to Kew so we go there a lot (they have season tickets, with concessions for kids ;) ) but if you’re ever in the area near Christmas I’d recommend an evening visit for the lights

Thought it would be a good idea to do a spot of Xmas shopping in York. if you can turn it into a day out its not a chore. Not been too well so had a lemsip and set off for train. It's full of large rowdy groups with crates of beer and prosecco popping going on the lash. Standing room only. Would it be un christmassy to start wind milling and clothes lining the bastard's

Seeing you do that would make me feel all warm and Christmassy inside.
Perhaps screaming ‘Ho ****ing ho’ as you swat them might help the festive scene?

The two hundred people who squeezed on at Selby have prevented most arm movement so my plan has been thwarted they're too close to hit properly

There’s lots of pubs called The Bay Horse in the UK, where was yours?

It was brilliant again. Superb light show on the fountains on the main glasshouse lake

Good decision to take several thermos flasks of mulled wine in with us this year.
Saved spending £5 per little glass of it.

...meant I only had to buy stout to wash it down with <cheers>

Read that as “£5 per litre glass” at first. Blind as a bat.

Think the beer & cider festival is around April time, more of an Easter thing
