Seems to hold some weight this bullying shìte. Leadbitter hinting at divisions. Playing shìte with mcgeady etc. I'll wait to pass comments until all facts come out, if they do, but hopefully Parkinson has put his foot down and the players have a Better attitude going into this one. 2 - 1 the lads.
I hope so, we desperately need wins...if Mcgeady has to go he needs to be swiftly followed by Parkinson. I wonder if the bullying reason is also tempered by Mcgeady not liking Parky's hoof ball?
I get the feeling that a few of us could write your negative posts for you, Bri., 'cos we know what you're going to say . . . . the only thing that we don't know is when you're going to post them p.s. we will win tomorrow (probably 3-1) and it'll all look better (for most of us, anyway) p.p.s. mark my words . . . . unless I'm completely wrong, of course
Hopefully the confrontation with McGeady may actually clear the air and let the players put in a performance. Head says draw, but we must start winning!!!
Parkinson's said today that Maguire realised he needed to put the hours in so is trying to get himself fit and shift some weight (paraphrasing) Whatever happens I'll be there tomorrow - not sure I'll be doing too much "cheering" as my throat is killing and I am gigging tonight and tomorrow night so need to be disciplined. #backtheteam
Yeah it might well do to be fair. Can't imagine him setting the team up as negatively as he did against Gillingham either. May as well have played 5 CBs. Hopefully change all round and a fresh start of sorts now the air's been cleared.
I know a lot is conjecture but mcgeady has obviously overstepped the mark somewhere. If he has been giving it the Billy big bollocks and bullying young players he can fook off and good riddance, Regardless of parkys hoof ball tactics the last thing we need is another jumped up prick ruining the team. Parky was an uninspiring choice for me and the results haven't been good apart from of course Tranmere but he has gone up in my estimation taking no shìt. Interesting to see if there are improvements in performances now.
Like others, I can't see us getting a positive result from this one for two reasons 1. Blackpool are an in form team 2. The pressure on our team to perform well at home will be too much for some of our players. Heads will drop the minute Blackpool score, making the stadium atmosphere toxic. On the other hand, our team could play a blinder and surprise us all. So which team will turn up? Absolutely no idea!
Team for Sat. Burge O/9 Oz Willis De Bock Watmore Power Dobson Hume McN Wyke Subs Big Jon and Grant, then give youth a chance, Kimp, Mumba and Taylor for instance, This line up could also morph into 4/3/3 or 4/2/4 if required and a few of this eleven can play in more than one position handy options to have imo. Lets see if PP has the nerve, so far he has been dull and disappointing to say the least.
Any likelihood that he's protecting Watmore with a view to shifting him in January. Could free up enough wages to bring in a couple of players
Blackpool have 10 outfield players on their roster 6' or taller. Hope we go with the bigger lads tomorrow. https://www.espn.com/soccer/team/squad/_/id/346/blackpool
