Match Preview;
I made it to Barnsley away a number of years ago...a long trip but a good day out. Could be a good chance to go and see Rangers hopefully get a result on Saturday. After a good win last night away to Birmingham, we now find ourselves 12th, but only 3 points off 6th place...but still with a goal difference of -5. Barnsley have lost 2, won 1 and drawn 1 in their last 4, and they sit bottom of the table, 4 points adrift of Wigan who are in 23rd spot.

Their problem is obvious, they've conceded 42 in 21 games, only Luton have conceded more (44), and next in that list is us (37). Having not conceded in our last two games, here's hoping that run can continue as Warburton continues to solidify the back line.

Never been to Barnsley but I see Farage got 30% of the vote there so assume it’s quite nice. If anyone can recommend a kosher restaurant let me know.

Ground 75/90 for me (RIP Bury and not counting Cov).

 

Top 10 at Xmas would be a nice way to round off the year and going into the NY with some form could be interesting

Reckon midweek would’ve added a few but so close to Xmas always knocks a few off. 900 or so would be good.

 

Same team apart from starting hugill instead of Naki or maybe go with both up top as they've conceded even more than us.....just go for it?

 

I'll be there and son is coming over from Liverpool for this too. He is still buzzing from seeing the win at Brum mid week. Or the 4 cans of Red Bull in the car on the way home

 

Actually quite a decent away trip. Few decent pubs including an Irish bar(if it's still there) decent away end and fans seem decent enough. Most of the north voted for Brexit unfortunately just one of those things!

I would start with the same team and formation but with Hughill upfront (instead of Wells).

For all their results, Barnsley are not a bad team at home and I would not underestimate them.

 

We only need to score one with our new AC Milan of the 90s defence. Honestly it’s going to be the hardest ****ing Barnsley has seen since Thatcher came to power*
