As a Pom (and you know what that means) I still have a soft spot for the Old Dart and hate to see her in the condition she is/was. I was living in the UK when it entered the EU and know something of what that entailed. Heated feelings? I wouldn't say that exactly except I do tend to leg pull a bit Half the UK wouldn't know who the PM of Australia is? Half the people in Australia don't, either, and, I agree with you, probably don't care. Our Opposition leader is invisible and totally ineffectual. Wonderful world we live in, eh? PS am a genuine account. Wouldn't know how to set up and alt account anyway.
Fear not, I think you can expect an influx of Russian buyers now that we’ve made the country safe for oligarchs. It gets better all the time, pound is up too.
As for the country being ‘conservative’. Wilson was a ‘pragmatist’. There has been no labour government since 1945 that hasn’t been centrist. The pillocks haven’t learnt you need a suit a smile and a bit of gravitas and Everyman appeal policies. It’s really fcking simple and time and time again they fck it up with outdated socialist dreamers. David Miliband would have walked this election.
I’m fine thanks, it’s all those hard working leave voters (remainers don’t work remember) who grafted for a deposit and wanted to get on the housing ladder you’re calling stupid
Well I knew we were getting out of the EU, some really stupid people have spent 3 years thinking they were having another vote.
We need to all join the Labour party to make sure they elect a ‘suitable’ replacement for Jeremy. My favourite is Rebecca Long-Bailey, with luck she’ll be as unelectable as he was.
some guy called ristac said it. He’s a leave voter so it must be true. You liked the post, so presumed you agreed with him
