Well now you have your win, you should probably realise, 'Get Brexit done' means nothing. Even if we leave in January, that's just the start of us being able to negotiate. It's years away yet.

It will be done either way by December next year. I know it can take years but I honestly think that as the EU will see a big Tory win, they know Brexit will happen. They will want to get a trade deal done in time before the possibility of us leaving on WTO. It will be in their best interest to get it done and not play hardball like they've done during the last 3 years

Don't believe it Red Robin. The losing parties will want a re-run until 1 of them beats the Tories. They will claim the Tories overspent on their campaign and claim the Tories lied and lied and lied. You know, like what they did after the referendum. Clearly their NHS scaremongering backfired and accusing the Tories as racists has caused the Labour party to not on lose this election but it could be - according to the exit poll, the worse result for Labour since the 1930's!

 

To be fair the Tories did demonstrably lie. 88% versus 0% with Labour according to that article the other day.

That said, it's a clear mandate now. No ifs and buts. Just gotta try and survive the ride.

 

It's a shame the Brexit party won't probably win a seat. It would be funny if 1 made it. I think they would get a lot of grief in parliament
