we had the football thread, the whole point of this forum, but sometimes, there's not a lot of football to talk about. COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!!! Music thread! excellent idea, everyone loves music. International weekend, bored, spice things up with a political thread. Now this could get a bit racy. No problem, this is where to let it go! oh. Forget that, way too controversial! ban that!

I'm not going to argue against locking it for a bit but this is election day for a very divisive election and rhetoric had certainly ramped up leading to it. It will probably calm down when less is on the line in a few days so would be nice if you consider reopening it then.

I do think the Politics thread should be reopened later tonight. Otherwise whenever a result comes in the off topic thread will be flooded with politics.

 

Flocking parakeets! there's hundreds roosting outside ours competing with raucous crows. Spectacular fly pasts dawn and dusk but another intrusive species that needs control.

 

Yeah open it up at 9pm an hour before the polls close and give everyone the chance to calm down and have a couple of drinks

 

I think maybe we should talk about Religion on here (it is the off topic thread after all). There will be no controversy at all.

 

Opinion always worth having unless it's masquerading as fact which often happens online.
