Well there is plenty to listen to above Chilcs. I was introduced to them by a friend In the early 90s and have liked them ever since. If I had not been introduced to them I probably would have been tne same as you.
Thanks for posting those SaintMarv, much appreciated on a day I would rather never happened. Marie was one of those bright twinkling stars in a clear night sky. You just had to look and listen, and the smiles would come all by themselves.
After that Glenn Miller, I'm going for George Gershwin's Rhapsody In Blue: Incidentally, [so hearsay goes] the clarinet scale you hear at the beginning was created by a player warming up his instrument, but Gershwin heard it and liked it, and decided to incorporate it into his composition. Now that little warm-up is one of the most recognized openings in the history of music.
Just echoing Kaito's movie music, how about the Chuck Berry classic Johnny B Goode, as played by Michael J Fox, in the film Back To The Future. And Fox could play the guitar that well. Here's hoping his Parkinsons doesn't deprive him of everything:
