I don't know whether this entirely meets the requirements of the thread because I have never actually heard anyone describe him as funny but: @I am Groot returns
what's incredible about Harry Hill is that he repeats the same jokes week after week for years and has a genuine live audience. People, human beings with apparently the ability to earn pound sterling, booked tickets to watch Harry Hills TV Burp and couldn't stop laughing. I just, cannot comprehend.
Yeah. What the **** is it with people. ****ing Irish gash. Father Ted - different kettle of fish - Irish genius.
He wasn't a chef by any chance was he? I worked with a head chef who told me he got drunk and did it to someone at a wedding before! TBH I found the whole concept highly amusing. Hell of a chef though and I'm pleased to say he was OCD about people cleaning their hands before and during preparing food, which makes a lot of sense when he told you some of the stuff he use to get up to.
Lenny Hendry, though I suppose I have never actually met anyone who thought he was funny. Never got Pheonix Nights either.
