Well what a fantastic win at Craven Cottage. We now turn to our next game Millwall and team that can play extremely well or extremely poor. Tuesdays game at Ashton Gate is a another chance to put three more points on the board. Again unless injury dictates LJ must start with the same side that started against Huddersfield and Fulham. I am going for a comfortable 3-0 city win if we play the same as those last two games.
Bristol City have lost just one of their last 12 home league matches against Millwall (W5 D6 L1). Millwall have won just two of their last nine league meetings with Millwall (W2 D4 L3), losing the most recent encounter in April of last season. Bristol City are unbeaten in their last eight home league games (W4 D4) - they last had a longer run between February-November 2014 when they were in League One (15 games). Millwall have drawn more games in 2019 than any other Championship side (16), with each of the Lions' last three league games ending level. Bristol City have the highest shot conversion rate in the Championship this season - the Robins have scored with 14.7% of their total shots (33/224).
It has draw written all over it. I hope not as we have to be beating teams like Millwall at home if we really are to be top 6 contenders.
No disrespect to Millwall and Blackburn this is games you must win if you have aspirations off play offs or higher.
Football doesn’t work like that. We struggle against physical teams , the odd goal in it, or quite possibly a draw.
Really? You've posted something without checking the facts first? You do surprise me that's not like you!!
Traditionally, a team like Millwall would Park the bus in this game and we’d struggle to break them down. This Millwall team though, tries to attack, so we could see a more open encounter this time around. Is it on the Red Button?
Hopefully LJ sneaks 10 subs in at half time cause these ones are playing statues. Going for a LJ bollocking and 3-1 score
We really are a frustrating side to watch at times. Very poor first half, Massengo giving the ball away a lot, Fammy very poor first touch too may times, just adds pressure and stops our flow
