The only possible election vote is a conservative minority, and the reason being Corbyn is unelectable!

Labour could have the best policies in the land, but at the end of the day Labour have a habit of picking leaders who are unelectable like Michael Foote and Neil Kinnock,

Evening all. I've just read through several pages and wanted to add my comments:
Alex Hall Hall said she could no longer "peddle half truths."
That doesn't mean lies, it means she didn't agree with them.
I watched John McDonnell on the Andrew Marr show today. He has absolutely no idea how the world of business works. Marr gave up trying to explain to him how his plan for the NHS will cost billions and lengthen waiting times enormously.
It's not surprising, he is a career politician.
Labour are unelectable, full stop. No matter how bad you think Brexit is going to be, a Labour Government would be disastrous.
Eric asked for any countries not in a trading block.
I'd love us to be in a trading block with the whole of Europe. That's not what we have, we have a burgeoning European State. It has a Parliament, a European Court, it's own currency and free movement.
Name me ANY trading block that has that?

What AHH wrote was more detailed than that, one paragraph said:

“I have been increasingly dismayed by the way in which our political leaders have tried to deliver Brexit, with reluctance to address honestly, even with our own citizens, the challenges and trade-offs which Brexit involves; the use of misleading or disingenuous arguments about the implications of the various options before us; and some behaviour towards our institutions, which, were it happening in another country, we would almost certainly as diplomats have received instructions to register our concern,”

Given she’s a career diplomat, a type of person not known for bluntness, that is incredibly clear - ‘reluctance to address honestly.......the use of misleading or disingenuous arguments ‘

You won’t get a diplomat saying ‘lying through our teeth’ Clearer than that.

A half truth is telling only part of the story, generally with the intent to deliberately mislead.

even if that was all she said it’s pretty clear

doesn't mean she’s right, doesn’t mean that she isn’t a lefty libtard remainer traitor blah blah who timed her departure deliberately for electoral effect,

but her point was pretty clear.

I admit I had to Google CARICOM. They have free movement for certain professions, they don't have regulatory alignment, they don't have a central court, they don't have a single currency, they don't have M CARICOM Ps....... I could go on but you get the idea.

    https://blogs.sussex.ac.uk/uktpo/2018/03/29/what-can-the-uk-learn-from-existing-customs-unions/

    Generally poorer countries.

About Alex Hall Hall, I quoted what she said then my take on what it meant. If she thought she was being told to sell lies then why didn't she say so? She's leaving the diplomatic service anyway.

As with this whole saga, one lot of us see it one way and others see it another.

No matter what result, if we actually get a result, on Thursday, this saga will continue.

Tactical voters don't deserve to have their vote matter.

Look up the CSME as part of CARICOM. They issue common passports, essentially use the same currency, have central courts, a council of ministers and other regional bodies etc etc OK they are poor countries so? Other examples of trading/political blocs could ultimately be the USA, a federation of different states, or Australia a commonwealth of states each with its own government but with common laws and currency. Probably not quite what you were expecting. Some Brits just want to be left alone and get on with things their way, I understand that. That's fine but don't think you'll be welcomed with open arms like some prodigal son. If countries can make a dollar from trading with the UK, if it leaves Europe, then they will but it wont be for a common good it will simply be for profit.

Don't worry Boris will revoke her citizenship on Friday along with yours and Corbyn, Mcdonnal and Abbott, you could become leftist guerillas or more likely the five stooges.

Jeremy Vine on the radio today discussing tactical voting.... A Lib Dem voting remainer called in, she said she will vote Labour as Conservative must not get in, she does not want Brexit.

The caller was complaining there are no tactical voting support groups, we should all have them set up telling us who to vote for. What she didn’t get was she is in a Conservative controlled area, Lib Dem’s are second a long way ahead of Labour in third.

It was explained in black and white, you’re better off still voting Lib Dem’s as Labour have no chance in her area but still she couldn’t grasp the basics

I did Google it. The arrangement makes absolute sense because they are a group of small, poor islands. They have restricted free movement to skilled workers only, they don't elect representatives, they have 38 languages and as many currencies. It's a bad example if you're trying to sell the EU.

Every country can make a dollar trading with the UK. The EU are doing that now.
The reason the vast majority of our trade is with the richer nations is because our stuff is expensive. UK goods and services don't do well in Romania because they can't afford it.
With our disposable income we are a very lucrative market for any nation. No one is climbing over us to do a trade deal with Romania.
There are maybe 6 nations in the EU that can afford to buy our ****, the rest just want us to give them money.
When/if we leave we can deal with nations who can buy Brompton bikes, Dyson vacuums etc. There's no surprise that Dyson set up in the Far East, that's where his market is.

I laugh at the videos, this was a live telephone call in. I will say though, if you have watched any live interview with Dianne Abbott you’ll know she really is as thick as the videos make her out to be

Why did you change the subject? Some of the videos and call in etc are set ups. Some are opportunistic and some are meticulously planned but all are aimed at tricking the gullible. Form your own opinion based on your views and what you know and stick with it, nothing wrong with that.
