I’m not voting and anyone who votes, unless they have a good independent standing, is a moron.

The system is old fashioned and broken but we the people are stuck with it because they’re all tyrants, every single one of them.

Case in point if (when) the conservatives walk this election on the back of a campaign of media smears, and a 10 year reign of sheer ineptitude, there is something very, very wrong. But both parties have their fingers too deeply in the pie and will not relinquish the power they have over us all and the ability to fatten their bank accounts on the back of the taxes they steal off us at every single opportunity. They even tax us when we die.

I have people on Facebook, minimum wage, zero hours types, they are people I know and they are poor and struggling, spending most their time sharing Corbyn smears and telling the world to vote conservatives. This is a special kind of stupid.

All voters are equally as gormless and stupid. Led by the nose by the worst kind of crooks.

That's rubbish and I'd say Thatcher and May were both ridiculed more than Abbott.

    Great reference mate.

So, other than Brexit, what else will the Conservatives do?

    Some upbeat good news please.

Interesting post and some good points. However, as our forefathers and foremothers fought like hell for the vote, then I'm voting. It may be to write:
'None of them', across the paper, but it still counts as a vote.

Talking policies & manifestos what’s your thoughts on the contents & potential implications detailed on page 48 of the Tory Manifesto.

Also was it placed on page 48 purposely & provocatively?

Put 20,000 police officers on the streets and pay them more than £30 a year....Diane Abbott's figures not mine.

I know Dianne Abbott is one of the highest profile of the minority MP's but if she is really getting over half of all the abusive tweets, Why is that?

Maybe you should ask why govt ministers like James Cleverly or Priti Patel get nothing like the same volume of abuse?

our forefathers fought for democracy. What we have is not democracy, it’s temporary dictatorship, it’s authoritarianism.

If we look at the definition of democracy:

    Definition of democracy

1a: government by the peopleespecially : rule of the majority
b: a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections

I don’t think that describes politics at all.

I’m not even convinced the votes are actually counted and it’s not a predetermined conclusion.

I would agree with drawing a dick on your paper. It’s what I do.

You can bet Remainers would have claimed it was a binding, overwhelming mandate if they had won. Presumably the 1973 one about staying in the EEC was an opinion poll as well. Remainers have the same attitude to votes which don’t go their way as Dr Allam.

That really doesn’t make any sense. It’s as though you thought you could jiggle the words around, to make yourself look clever.

An ellipsis is three dots. I thought your superior Oxbridge education would have known that.

Look clever? Is that like pretending racism doesn’t exist?

You want to look up dictatorship and authoritarianism in your dictionary whilst you are at it.

That doesn't even replace the police numbers the Tories cut since 2010.

    Oh, Dianne Abbott.

She puts a few exclamation marks at the end of everything that’s wrong with party politics!!!

The only reason she’s stealing an £80k salary off the public is because she is part of a major party.

Make them all independent and she’d have to try and find a job. Probably a cleaner.
