Agree. Our GD used to be advantage to us in the past. Still....every win by one goal chips away at it. :)

3-0 down at home with Ake and Wilson injured, could be a long hard slog for them with the wretched form they are in.

That maybe our only chance to stop L'pool winning the title. ;)

What points do you now think will see teams safe this season? I think it's going to be close to, if not over, 40.

In the last three seasons, and depending on goal difference, you would have stayed up with:

    34 points - 18-19,
33 points - 17-18 (I forgot just how close we were to going down!)
    34 points - 16-17
    37 points - 15-16
    35 points - 14-15

So the average over the last five years is about 35 points to stay up.

I think Palace may have to start looking over their shoulders. They're on bad form, don't score too many and the teams below them keep picking up wins here and there. Bournemouth have also been on a terrible run but have a good squad. West Ham have tough fixtures coming up. Burnley have been poor but you'd expect them to have enough, same with Watford. Brighton/Villa very up and down. Going to be tight!

I'd like to see Norwich, Bournemouth and West Ham go, but think the latter two will be safe.

    Here's the current table:

Watford's form looks decent...they could save themselves.
