I told you a few months ago, I’m mentally resigned to the lying twat being elected and Brexit happening. Looking forward to keeping a note of all the working class seats that vote for him and watching the people in them get screwed over the next 5 years. Being selfish, it’s better for me personally if Johnson is elected. I’d rather he wasn’t as it will be bad for the country but, to be honest, if 43% or so of the electorate vote for him they deserve all they get.
I can't remember who quoted "The state gets the government it deserves". Very true, I imagine.

I wonder if Labour will finally realise how much Corbyn is hated after this election. No doubt about it, when May resigned it was Labours chance to snatch a win at the polls but failing to replace Corbyn and their refusal to deliver Brexit will cost them massively.

It’s looking like Labour might lose a few seats to the SDP as well and the Lib Dem’s and Jo Swinson are looking like they’re heading for an embarrassing night.

Going back to Corbyn and Labour, they’ve run a bad campaign, it’s been solely based about digging the dirt and focusing on the Conservative plans trying to call them out rather on focussing on what they’re manifesto means.

Corbyn hasn’t realised that we don’t necessarily like Boris or trust everything he says but then we don’t trust any politician, the majority just want Brexit done.

He’s focusing on the student vote and new voter, when Thursday arrives and they’re too lazy to go out and vote or crying they feel too ill to leave the house he still won’t realise why he got it so wrong.

Not replacing Corbyn is a fair point . For a long time it has been clear he doesn't "engage" with the majority of people but not delivering Brexit, I'm less sure about. Polls are not 100% accurate but currently (18th Nov) they show remain is in the majority on this single question. The point is Johnson is the better orator and so wins the easily persuaded over with building 40 Hospitals, 20,000 police officers 50,000 nurses and simple message etc which are all obviously good but not quite what they appear. He isn't able to differentiate fact from fiction and so I will be generous and say he believes these things to be true, but they aren't or perhaps he is being deliberately deceitful?

There is obviously something quite amiss when former conservative and labour PM's agree.

Every election both parties put figures out there regarding hospitals, police and education, I personally let it all go in one ear and out the other. The average person knows the statistics are manipulated by one and all.

This election will be won on delivering Brexit with a twist. Scotland don’t want Brexit but they never vote Conservative, for them it is Labour or SNP and Labour look set to lose out to SNP. Boris can not win a Scottish vote so he doesn’t need to pander to the Cranky, no you’re not having a Scottish referendum. Labour need Scottish votes so just as with everything else it’s sit on the fence time for Corbyn.

Labour can’t upset those wanting a Scottish referendum whilst at the same time an independent Scotland would mean Labour never getting into power again unless via a coalition. The rest of the UK can think of nothing worse than Corbyn and Sturgeon in power, I’d rather have Trump

In regards to the chart, “what would you vote now,” it doesn’t reflect the “why”... People on the street are just sick and tired of it all and they just want an end. The figure contains a large percentage that don’t overly care on remain or leave, they’re edging remain.

We could have been out already but Corbyn with the aid of Burcow brought Parliament to a standstill for self over country.

Those wanting just an end and who are on the edge of undecided can vote Conservative and get it done, or Labour and face another 6 months of it all.

Labour can’t get in without a coalition so that 6 months becomes indefinite and many Labour voters who voted Brexit don’t trust Corbyn to deliver either

I think Conservatives will get a huge win, when Brexit has been delivered then it will all even out again and a future election will once again become a close call.

Boris made an excellent mayor, he was under estimated, he might surprise a few and make an excellent PM if he doesn’t we can vote him out at the next election assuming Labour have woken up to how much Corbyn is despised

In my opinion you are all stuck between a rock and a hard thing.

Sorry I just had to say, once you're out of the EU there is no way you're getting back in.

That’s what I’m hoping...

Be honest, once out can you see the UK collapsing, we’ll be fine and do okay as long as we’re on the same page and we get together as a nation.

Then somewhere down the line another Greece is waiting to be bailed out, the next poor Romania is waiting to join and the next UK will be waiting to leave.

We will make a go of it and we won’t be the last trying to get out once others see us doing okay.

By May 2018 Blair had received £800,000 from his EU pension, no wonder he is a remainer

Try telling that to the London Fire Brigade. You will get a very different answer.

I’m not saying I agree with fire brigade cuts but tough decisions have to sometimes be made. You can pick any politician and find a group of unhappy voters, Blair and soldiers families springs to mind and he had what proof of weapons of mass destruction?

Take that journey and hope you're right because if you aren't then you are up ship creek, near Woop Woop and AAMI aren't going to be anywhere to be seen.

How many countries can you name not in the EU that are doing just fine? Bet it’s quite a few.

Here in Australia we have had a few Labor leaders who have failed miserably. The party doesn't seem to realise that their leaders are incompetent and disliked/not trusted by the electorate. In Queensland we had a women Premiere (Pm of the state, not the nation) who was grossly incompetent and thoroughly disliked by the electorate. Tha party decided to go ahead with an election knowing how the people felt about her. The party was trounced. The Federal Government was the same with a woman PM who had usurped power from the elected PM and sat on her hands and did bugger all. Before the next GE she was stood down in favour of the man she had deposed. It was only this move that prevented the Labor Party from simply losing to being totally annihilated at the polls. Currently we have another female Premiere that is as much use as tits on a bull, but will the party replace her? No bloody way. why? Ask yourself, i have, often, and can't find an answer. It seems your Labour Party has a similar problem. If Corbyn is so unpopular, why is he still there?

**** this machine. Why doesn't it do as I say?

<laugh> Re your original post "if Corbyn is that bad why is he still there?" if you actually looked at the Shadow Cabinet they're all as bad if not worse than him, so what's the point in replacing one Socialist/Communist Jew hating twat with exactly the same?

****ing bunch of losers.

I’ve voted between Conservative, Labour and UKIP all my life, I actually voted for Blair. It matters not what Labours policies are, Corbyn is self before country and party so he is far more dangerous than Boris.

Before any details were released of the deal Boris was putting together for a trade deal exit with the EU Corbyn stated he’d vote against it. He loved the disruption, he loved the control and power he had.

I despise the man as much if not more than Thatcher.

In short I agree with you and wonder why myself
