I Don't like Corbyn or the direction Labour has gone under him. However it is time to make a decision. Labour were second in my constituency and I did think that the Lib Dems were in with a chance of taking it. Their campaign has been lacklustre to say the least so I am going home to Labour. They won't win but it's the best chance of preventing a far worse outcome.

If at the end of tonight’s debate, Corbyn has a chance to state his case, he should just play this video.

Saw a clip on TV talking to two Scots.

The guy who is SNP said "The English are odd. Given the choice of voting for a weird not so popular guy with principles or a buffoon, they still think there is a choice tp be made".

<laugh> Nice of him to use the word "odd". I would have used more robust language, personally.

Did anyone watch the Nicola Sturgeon appearance on ITV with Eamonn Holmes and his missus Ruth, this morning?
I saw a snippet on the BBC news, where NS said that she would never support Johnson in government, before adding that she wasn’t a fan of JC.
It looked as though she was going to add a “but” following the JC comment but the BBC had already cut the interview. I was wondering what she went on to say and why the BBC didn’t play it.
My guess is that she offered to support JC.

If JC has any chance of becoming PM, he's going to need the support of the SNP, Plaid Cmyru and probably the solitary Green MP too. Not sure where the LibDems would stand with that, given the way Jo Swinson enthusiastically jumped on the anti Corbyn bandwagon.

I think Swinson would do anything for a sniff of power, even if it was just biscuit monitor.

The thing that makes me want to vomit is that should Johnson win next Thursday we will have to put up with all those Quislings smirking and rapturous in the outcome. My mother used to say to me in the war that if the Nazis successfully invaded there would be plenty of people who would support them and most would have aristocratic blood and have had a public school education. 75 years later I now believe her. There are 17miliion Quisling bastards out there all happy to align themselves alongside the most right wing party ever seen in British Politics.

It appears my eldest brother is amongst them. I had to listen to him talk the most abysmal political garbage earlier today about Pakistani male car drivers, and how they are poorer in road attitude than other people. I mean, condemning a whole culture, as if he had a wealth of world experience. He's only left the UK three or four times, and only to Europe [and he's a Leaver], and suddenly he's an authority on world culture. I find it very hard indeed to stop myself giving him a mouthful of truth against his BS. What annoys me most is that plenty of people operate in the same zone.

My ideal scenario would be a minority Labour government backed by the Lib Dem’s and the SNP who push them towards electoral reform and the introduction of STV in time for the 2024 election.

My very favourite result would be a Tory majority of three. They get all set up to pass Brexit and Sinn Fein turn up and scupper it.

Sinn Fein Saves the Union is just such a deliciously silly outcome that it seems about 99% certain to happen, because we are all living in the imagination of a really bad writer.
