Roberto Soldado - Looked to have the tools to be a star in the premier league and to be a Spurs legend - but it just didn't happen, took a decent penalty, but that was about it.
The dunny man story still makes me laugh 32 years after reading it and pissing myself laughing on a crowded bus to work one winters morning in 1987.
A good book to read is by Hunter Davies where he travels with the Spurs team for a whole season some years ago.
Yes. 1. That he has gone 2 That he was 70 I suppose because we see him at his peak bowling out the Australians in the 'Botham' Test. In that they stay for ever young.
RIP. That test match at Headingly will see that he is remembered forever. One of the most amazing sporting contests of all time. Unfortunately, you hardly ever see very old, tall people..........which is particularly unfortunate for me.
Yes, a shame. He was a great bowler, when fast bowlers for England were few and far between. Back then we existed on a long line of fast medium swing/seam bowlers. Lacked a little of the charisma of a Botham or Gower, but will be remembered as a fine player.
I'd probably have to go for the Moura goal, at least in part because of the cheer from the Wet Spam fans for Alli's flick!
