They did a job in Sheffield Utd tonight but that second goal, nobody seems to know how to play the game anymore thanks to VAR. Mind I've not seen so many long balls and aimless crosses since we played last.
The funniest thing is watching their fans squirm when they do well. One of the comments on the BBC live text man:

This is just it though - the officials massively ****ed up. The flag should never have gone up. The defenders looked across and stopped awaiting the whistle. Referees always refer to linesman in thos situations. It was a farce. I personally don't think the goal should've stood - only because the flag went up - had the lfag not gone up, then it's a goal IF he scores it - but who kows what would've happened. It was awful officiating. Not the first time this season (happened to Liverpool at the weekend as well where the Brighton player was flagged offside and passed it back to the keeper as he thought he was offside) Officials have no idea how to officiate. Some of them are awful. It seems little to nothing has changed when it comes to officiating and VAR hasn't improved much at all.
