I agree in that it changes often, we used to have a very family Christmas with focus on being together as it can be difficult to do that throughout the year but as the kids have got older they have their own plans so Mrs luv and me will go out more this year and spend some time together.
Wait till you're grand parents, you'll be more giddy than when yours were little. Currently looking for Nintendo switch games and doll's prams
I've been thinking about the Grand Parents thing lately, hopefully I've got a few years yet as I'm not ready and need a break from kids! I love my kids but the little ****s wear on you with their constant need for things and money, Mrs luv spoils them they know they can get away with anything. Problem is the oldest is 21 and the youngest 12, I'm probably going to be a GP before the youngest moves out. ****, now I'm depressed.
I luv Christmas My favourite is Halloween But just love Christmas - tbh I love winter I like short dark days and snow and ice Playing footie when it’s snowing and not windy is the best !
Hate Christmas but since the 25 th is my birthday I celebrate that.Pub at 12 with missus until closing then back home where she dings the big **** off curry meal (done away with traditional turkey years ago.) that we collected xmas eve.Followed by booze of varying types, real ale ,g&t ,prosecco then zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
We sometimes do Christmas Eve curry but wouldn't swap traditional Christmas dinner. I can get quite excited deciding which meats to get
This just depressed me too There’s four f#cking kids at ours; 23, 17, 16, 12. It’s feckin relentless. Big shop on a Sunday, empty fridge on a Monday! Christmas is just another expense I need a break before grandkids!!
I No my (and my partners) kids live with us. Having grandkids living here too fills me with fear . So far, none are in sight but 3 of the 4 are of ‘spawning’ age....you get the gist....
