My lad has been in hospital yesterday and today. Some of the Hull City squad were doing the rounds and he got his photo taken with a number of first team players and Roary. To say he is happy would be an understatement.
Da Silva, Kingsley, Bowler, Long and Elder. Players that do this as an extra probably don’t realise what a positive impact that this has on kids. He’s absolutely made up.
I wonder if this will be in the paper. As we, City that is, are really really **** at promoting ourself in the community.
Hope he's ok mate. My daughter was in hri for a week a few years ago and mam was with her. I must have wornholes in the carpet with the pacing.
Good work by the players and staff. Hospital is a miserable place to be and this will have made a fantastic difference to your lad and the other kids
I remember way back to 1975 when i broke my leg playing in goal in a,Sunday league match against hessle juventus, and my mam wrote to city to tell them....and a few days later John Kaye rang me up!!!! And to say I was over the moon was an understatement!!!
Hope your lad is ok Spent some time in hospitals lately with family members, including Grandkids, and it’s always a worry.
Just ongoing tests trying to find out why he keeps on being sick. Over the last 3 years they have ruled out most things. So they were running PH stomach tests and he’s had ‘the’ cameras. Now we wait for the results.
Fingers crossed you get an answer and it leads to a resolution Grandson was in getting range of unpleasant tests for all sorts of issues including pituitary gland, and we took him as his Mum was a floor above going into labour! So we got another Grandson the same day
I hope your Grandson gets a clean bill of health too. It’s always a worry. Congrats on the new arrival
All these things outside of their day job should be shouted about. You often forget all the bits outside of the ‘day job’ that they do. My lad got back from hospital with the biggest smile on his face. I don’t think anything I’d have got him could have topped that. If he wasn’t mad enough on City already - meeting the players has made his year. I’m pleased that the club is shouting about it. Great work City
