In this case, my opinion is certainly better the devil you know.
The alternative is Corbyn and Abbott. I’d rather have Sooty and Sweep running the country.

That's why I don't vote Labour. They sold off our gold reserves and left us penniless.

So you're happy with foodbanks, long waiting lists in NHS, Soup Kitchens, Record levels of rough sleepers, Must be nice to be well off and not care for those who through no fault of their own are destitute!!!

You must have the missed the bit about Labour leaving us penniless and selling off our reserves? This meant the Conservatives had to bring in austerity measures to stop us going bankrupt. So Labour must take the blame for a lot of decisions that the Conservatives needed to take.

I understand this is an emotional subject, for you. Do you really need to accuse others of not caring for those who through no fault of their own are destitute, simply because they vote for a different political party to yourself?

That's like me accusing you of wanting the holocaust all over again because you choose to vote for Labour.

One of the few times I got a "stocks" prediction right! Price of gold plummeted as a result of that debacle so we(the country)sold at the bottom!

Labour party can always be relied on to screw up the finances so if they get in someone needs the IMF on speed-dial

The selling off of the gold reserves was due to baling out the banks after their irresponsible lending which was a result of Thatcher's deregulation of the bamks. The austerity measures were a political decision to shrink the welfare state as opposed to stimulating the economy making it grow not the vicious circle of reducing spending resulting in an economy only now getting back to 2010 levels but I'm pleased that someone benefitted from it.

Didn't he do that years before the banks screwed up ? Or was their a previous bailing out that I've forgotten ?

    NATO & Corbyn

My generation has been incredibly fortunate never having experienced a major conflict which in my opinion is down to NATO and our alliance with the USA. If this attached link works it explains why a Corbyn government has me worried.

Fookin hell, is he for real. Putin, yes Putin, one of the biggest tyrant warmongers on the planet, must be dancing a jig with the thought of Corbyn in No. 10. God help us all.....Putin will be itching to move back into those States that broke away from the USSR, the country where millions have been suppressed and many have gone missing.
Yes mr fekin comrade, communist appeaser, Corbyn, that is why NATO was formed and that is why it still (just about) stands today.

Working the soup kitchen at night were you?
It's amazing we have these problems as so many on social platforms actively help...or do they merely want to appear virtuous in public?
You care no more for the homeless than I di, you and many others just feel the need to say you do in public.
If you can read this without offence please do as it is not meant to be personal to you but to your view which many share but ultimately do nothing.
