As far as I can see they only have two of our games over the period anyway - the derby, and the Boxing Day game v Leicester. I only use Amazon occasionally because I'm not keen on their place in a hyper-consumerist society, so Prime would be of no use to me in terms of delivery charges. I suppose I could sign up to their free trial, as long as I remember to cancel it in time. They have the City game tonight, so I'll see if I can dredge up an alternative for that before I think of tomorrow's game. The other problem is quality. When I had free BT Sports (as a BT broadband customer) their stream was lousy. It lagged and then jumped frequently during a game. Then they tried to charge me for it so I ****ed 'em right off. The Sky payg system NowTV only had SD on a smart TV via their box so it was like watching in the Middle Ages all over again. I'm reluctant to give people money for a sub-standard service or some beta release that they haven't even got right yet.
BT online is still terrible. I have watched films on Amazon and that works fine but live football I haven't tried yet. I'll test it tonight and report back, the broadband in my area is average at best so it'll be a good test. If it doesn't work I have a website I use that has a good stream that rarely buffers.
Jürgen Klopp provides update on LFC squad fitness and Joel Matip Jürgen Klopp confirmed Liverpool have no new injury concerns ahead of Wednesday's Merseyside derby at Anfield. The Reds came through last weekend’s hard-fought victory over Brighton and Hove Albion unscathed on the fitness front. Joel Matip remains unavailable, meanwhile, as the defender continues to recover from a knee issue. “Joel needs a bit more time, it’s healing but it’s not exactly how we wished for,” explained Klopp at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday. “It needs a bit more time, so that will take a while. “The rest are fit.
