Virtually everything posted on here by Kiwi is by extreme right wing Brexiters of no academic repute, yet you seem to lap it up. On which points is Mr Coles wrong?
It's received wisdom that since the 1970's, Labour's record on the economy is really poor - tax, spend, strikes, inefficiency, huge unemployment and huge debts. If I was to be convinced of the opposite, it would take an impartial heavyweight economist. Mr Coles is not that
The Tories usually have to start several paces back when they come to power to fix the mess Labour left. Look at 1979, for example.
Received wisdom, yes. A narrative apparently based on realistic interpretations of facts, but actually based on only a subjective selection or simplistic interpretation of facts.
I listened to Labours policies getting dismantled tonight. They will be offering a free train for everyone next week. I almost agree with Goldie but I know Labour would 2222 the country up for years to come. Big business are more worried about Corbyn than they are Brexit!
Problem with that and the projected 'freebie avalanche' is it will take a generation to pay for it if we haven't turned into a Banana Republic already...
**** me, seems I had it wrong about Johnson being a cowardly piece of ****. He's agreed to submit himself to a live grilling from Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning. They're expected to confront him on his views about whether jam or cream should go onto a scone first and at what point the milk should go into a cup of tea. Afterwards, he's expected to pose with some schoolchildren and cuddly animals.
It'll be a spell in the jungle next - if that slimy piece of **** Kneecap can pull the wool over the eyes of the voting public on there then BawJaws should have a chance... (by the way, who ****ing votes on these TV shows?)
Bloody hell Trump is in town! Just seen sky devoting all their news to mock him. I bet all the usual freaks will be out in London (fresh from their Brexit, anti-capitalist and Extinction demonstrations).
