I'm not watching - did they get a yellow card as a result of the VAR check ?

Is that because VAR is only there to decide penalty / no-penalty? (but not dive / no-dive)

Or would it be that VAR decided not a foul but also not a dive?

Shame that VAR has denied Leicester the chance to celebrate that winner...

If Liverpool didn't exist, you know that everyone would be looking at that and saying "Leicester's season".

Pretty much the first time a tight offside call has been onside. With basically the last kick of the game.

(And a defeat for Everton. Lovely.)

On the contrary, if there was no VAR, flag up and wrongly disallowed. So without VAR, the linesman would have denied Leicester a chance to celebrate the winner....

And well done to Graham Scott. The PL said at the start of the season that they wanted linesman to flag as normal (ie ignore that VAR exists), but for referees to not blow their whistle and instead allow play to continue if a goalscoring chance looks likely.

Everton result best for us....keeps them close to us. Amazing how close we are to quite a few clubs above us...despite our rubbish run of results. Good time to string a few results together.

Everton are moaning but the first rule of football is play to the whistle. They will have been briefed about this situation so tough ****.

And to be honest, it very much looked like they did continue to play to the whistle. I didn't see their two defenders stop playing. Or Pickford.

Just a lame attempt from them afterwards, to try and get the goal ruled out.

Everton fans forum also furious about the goal coming in the 95th min after just 3 mins being added, they of course ignore Sidibe's rolling around on the floor for several mins in added time for no apparent reason. Double edged sword timewasting.

May 2018, didn't they get a contentious equiliser in the 96th min with only four added on. Seem to remember some pretty heavy injustice that day.
